Unfortunately I didn't do a separate backup of my projects from within Resolve... However, I did do a full backup of my Windows 10 disk before upgrading to the 17 beta. I'm assuming that I can do a recovery something like this:clean uninstall of 17fresh install of 16recover some directory that includes my project filesWhich directories do I need to recover from my full system backup in order to get my projects back? OK.Sure would have been a lot easier to make a database backup instead. And it would be easier to give you guidance if you had provided a Resolve diagnostics log file. But basically, the default disk database and your projects will be in this path (assuming you've never had a Resolve version earlier than 16 installed): C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Resolve Disk Database\Resolve Projects\Users\guest\Projects Where xxxx is your Windows User name. After you've reinstalled 16, just copy all the project folders out of the backup copy of the path above, into the current Projects folder. The difference appears to be that you have a Citrix indirect Display Adapter installed, according to the Windows System Information - Components - Display list. Can you remove or kill that, and see if Resolve works then? I had wondered about Citrix. I normally install it on a VM for my work but the latest version works better with a 2 monitor setup. Now I know why, LolIt's weird that it worked at one time but Citrix does constant updates so it must have squashed Resolve prior to the 17.3.2 and was a coincidence.Any thoughts on getting citrix to work with Resolve?Either way, just happy to have my rig back! If you are on Windows, you'll need to uninstall first, using the Windows Programs and Features control panel. Hopefully you backed up your 16 database before allowing 17 to Upgrade it. If you let 17 upgrade your database, and you have a 16 database backup, when you reinstall 16, you'll need to Restore the 16 database backup, to access it.
