UAD distressor for UAD spark

Have to bite the bullit. I've had physical ilok's since the stone age. They are actually great.I don't have anything on icloud, all works here. However, it is strange that this seems to be happening to some people. #13 Thanks. I'm already paying for a spark subscription..how about UAD sends us a physical iLok considering the product doesn't deliver on what it promises.!? I literally have to check every UAD plugin every time I open a project. lol. #14 Thanks. I'm already paying for a spark subscription..how about UAD sends us a physical iLok considering the product doesn't deliver on what it promises.!? I literally have to check every UAD plugin every time I open a project. thats not a bad idea, if UA will bulk purchase iloks they wont be paying much and can give them for free as goodies, or at very little charge.I actually got my ilok2 free of charge from steven slate , it was an offer on a plugin, i think FG-X?. you purchase the plugin and you go a free ilok 2 shipped to you, was a great gesture i still remember #15 I forgot about that it's been so long ago.... #16 Or why aren’t uad hw used as ilock? #17 Or why aren’t uad hw used as ilock? Because not everyone has UAD hardware. #18 Because not everyone has UAD hardware. Yes, but also the dongle, it would be cool as third option in parallel with the cloud, but I understand security

UAD Spark Native VS UAD Plugins

Did purchase a satellite & say 10 choice plugins, it would be the equivalent of 8-10 years UAD Spark Subscription. So as much as I hate to admit it.... subscription is looking the more sensible option. (Only caveat is whether some of the more decent/ licensed products get ported to Spark)?? I survived both the TC Electronics and Focusrite DSP crash and UA doesn't even feel remotely like what went on it those 2 situations. Never had the chance to demo any UAD plugins before (due to lack of HW)... & was always a bit sceptical of the hype, but yes...impressed (& UAD does seem a safer place) #10 With the current promotion, getting an Apollo solo might be a good option if you aren’t relying on the DSP power. It comes with a bunch of plugins through 1/31 and can be used as portable interface and for unison preamp (though can only load 1 or 2 plug in with the solo DSP). #11 The hardware adds a bigger aspect of flexibility, I love being able to use Console. There is nothing like being able to create the sound you are after when you are after it or have the option to create it after the fact, key being the option.

AMS plugin is "the real deal" I wanted to ask about it.Opinions on how the Valhalla Vintage Verb and Reverberate 3/Townhouse AMS Impulse Response library compare to the H-Reverb for this sort of 80s sound?Oh, upon further research I found out that the Universal Audio plugins I had heard about which don't rely on UAD hardware is the UAD Spark plugin collection subscription service and only contain certain UAD plugins, and not the AMS RMX16. So the bottom line (as far as I know) is that for the real thing you need UAD hardware for the plugin, the AMS/Neve RMX16 500 series hardware reissue or a vintage original RMX16 rack unit. None of these are realistic options for me. Heard positive things about the Wave H series plugins, but don't have them.If you're looking specifically for the AMS nonlinear, the cheapest best option is probably Reverberate 3 (when on sale) + the Inhalt IRs. If you don't need or want that very specific sound, then there's other options.R3+Inhalt should prob cost about $130 when R3 is on sale, $150 when not (unless you have loyalty discounts). Plus R3 comes with a Bricasti and other IRs.Here's a piece that Matt @ Liquidsonics wrote: Gear Guru Joined: Oct 2006 🎧 15 years Quote: Originally Posted by vitocorleone123 ➡️ Reverberate 3 plus Inhalt Townhouse AMS. Interesting indeed, but pricey (US$ 200) according to its web page.Getting back to the Townhouse AMS Impulse Response (IR) library files.... I read somewhere that compared to most "regular" reverb plugins, those that use IR files demand a lot more CPU power. Is this true? Not sure if this would be an issue or not with my not-quite-up-to-date computer hardware but surely something to keep in mind. Also, would that AMS IR-library sound similarly good on any IR-capable reverb plugin, or does the Liquidsonics Reverberate 3 excel in terms of audio quality or something else? Judging from the screenshots on the Liquidsonics website it sure looks good though! Lives for gear Joined: Apr 2017 🎧 5 years. Which UAD Plug-Ins Are Available Natively and in UAD Spark?

You are using an out of date browser. It may not display this or other websites correctly. You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. Thread starter Kre-8 Start date Jan 18, 2023 #1 Hi,Recent adopter of Spark, & am really impressed with the quality of plugins compared to the many alternatives I already have.Only thing is, I hate subscriptions (I know I can opt out, but some UAD plugs are already proving indispensable)! The other thing I hate is plugin bundles - I'd rather buy 3 choice plugins than have a load of fillers that clog my system & don't fulfil my needs.So... as I understand, if I purchase UAD (DSP) hardware, & then purchase perpetual licences for plugins of my choice, then I will also receive (perpetual) native licenses for those plugins?Question is... does the hardware need to be powered on to run those native licenses? (I presume I'd need to keep the hardware registered to my account).Sorry if this has been answered previously, (I did search)... but any info greatly appreciated #2 So... as I understand, if I purchase UAD (DSP) hardware, & then purchase perpetual licences for plugins of my choice, then I will also receive (perpetual) native licenses for those plugins?Question is... does the hardware need to be powered on to run those native licenses?
