Taskbar wont go away

Without the BB data plan there are a couple of apps you wont be able to use (like the weather ones and facebook), you wont get push email, and you wont be able to use BB messenger or Maps. If you are able to get a BIS plan, I would recommend getting one. On the flip side, with a regular data plan you can access the GMail app (pulls every 15 minutes rather than push), Yahoo Go, Google Maps, Instango (IM), iSkoot (Skype), Opera Mini (a browser for when you don't have access to WiFi, can use BB browser when connected to WiFi), Qik (video recording with a difference), and Flickr amongst others. Using and customizing the taskbarThe taskbar is the valuable strip of real estate along the bottom of the screen. The taskbar made its debut in Windows 95, and in the years since, it has added features and buttons without changing its basic shape.In Windows 11, Microsoft has rewritten the taskbar code from scratch, stripping away nearly three decades’ worth of cruft and starting fresh with a design that is deliberately clean and simple. Its initial arrangement contains a group of buttons in the center, with (from left to right) the Start button, a group of system shortcuts, and then a group of buttons representing apps; the Widgets button is on the far left and a group of notification icons and a clock are on the far right.The Windows 11 taskbar continues to serve the same core functions as its predecessors—launching apps, switching between apps, and providing notifications—but the changes from its Windows 10 predecessor are profound. (For a partial list, see the sidebar, “What you can’t do with the Windows 11 taskbar.”)The most obvious change is the starting position. By default, the Windows 11 taskbar is centered on the bottom of the display rather than aligning to the lower-left corner. Instructions The Windows taskbar, along with the Start menu, can be hidden off-screen. To restore the Windows taskbar, use one of the following methods. Option 1: Press the Windows key + I, then select Personalization, then select Taskbar. Select Taskbar behaviors to expand the selection. Uncheck the box for Automatically hide the taskbar. Option 2: Move your mouse cursor to the edge of the screen where the Windows taskbar was last located. A thin gray line should appear along the edge of the screen where the Windows taskbar was last seen. When the cursor turns into a thin arrow pointing away from that edge, click and hold the left mouse button and drag away from that edge. This should allow users to drag the Windows taskbar to the wanted size. Booting into Safe mode and back into normal mode in Windows can also help get the Windows taskbar back.
