There were no thumbs files in the subfolders I used for comparison in the initial post, even after doing that. However I did run the search for *db to see if there were any thumbs files elsewhere. Saves messing about with connections, power supplies and so on. When you take your computer, you know you've got everything with you.I do have external drives, but I use them as backups (and backups of the backups) rather than main storage.
