NCSBN Learning Extension I have my NCLEX booked for just under three weeks from now and so far I have been using UWorld to study, which I'm loving! I took my first assessment and got very high chance of passing, 80th percentile, but I still feel like there is sooo much I don't know! Because of this I got the 3 week subscription to NCSBN's NCLEX study guide and did their practice test/assessment and failed it... I couldn't even tell what some questions were asking and could barely rule out any answers. I felt like I was guessing! I tried studying with it and it is so disorganized, difficult to retain, and is riddled with spelling/grammar errors. Now I'm stressed out wondering if I'm studying the wrong stuff during crunch time and I feel much less confident than before. Has anybody used NCSBN? Were the questions on the actual NCLEX exam like that or more like UWorld's? I was doing 75 UWorld Q's a day, but then started doing 25 or so after putting in 6 hours on NCSBN instead. Which should I do?? I have heard about Mark Klimek audiofiles where he reviews what will be on the exam and how to tackle the questions, if anybody would send it my way at [email protected] it would be sooo much appreciated!!! Wish me luck studying guys Good luck luv, I'll be praying for your success..... I used NCSBN the first time I took NCLEX it honestly felt overwhelming & confusing to say the least. UWORLD is most definitely the best course out there right now. The questions do resemble NCLEX. The thing is we will NEVER know everything the NCLEX questions us on, give your best & study the rationales! That changes everything. Praying for us all to conquer the NCLEX monster!edited by on 9/12/2018 rnyd226957 wrote:I used NCSBN the first time I took NCLEX it honestly felt overwhelming & confusing to say the least. Life, and while the tentacles are an example of the strong craftsmanship that goes into these costumes, the structural elements are just like those of Bee or Raven: jumpsuit + appendages = costume. 25 of 47 FOX Bee (Season 1) Music legend Gladys Knight rocked this bee-atutiful outfit, which was fun as it was functional. Basically, it consists of multi-colored tights with some appendages attached, likely for comfort and ease of movement. 26 of 47 FOX Miss Monster (Season 2) Monster was one of the more challenging costumes to make, costume designer Marina Toybina told TV Guide; it's cylindrical, has openings for vocals, and had one for winner T-Pain to see out of. Still, compared to some of the other eye-popping creations we've seen, it's tame. 27 of 47 FOX Monster (Season 1) Like her twin -- or is he a husband? -- Miss Monster was a challenging costume to make, costume designer Marina Toybina has said; it's cylindrical, has openings for vocals, and had one for winner Chaka Khan to see out of. 28 of 47 FOX Raven (Season 2) Worn by Ricki Lake, this ensemble involves some exquisite elements, like the absolutely stunning wings arranged in a wavy pattern that replicates plumage, the complicated cage, and the 3D-printed mask. Children to call her Grandmother, but when my oldest daughter tried to say Grandmother, mother came out as budna. It stuck and now my Mother will always be called Budna by her grandchildren.Bumpa: We used to call my grandfather Bumpa and since I’m one of many grandchildren before me there’s no telling how that got started.Bumpy/Gummy: These are the versions of Grampy and Grammy that I came up with as a small child. My grandfather has passed away, but 25 years later I still call my grandmother Gummy sometimes.Bun/Dappy: My son calls my husband’s parents “Dappy” (because he couldn’t pronounce Grampy), and “Bun” because we were calling her Grammy Bonnie (her first name is Bonnie) and he couldn’t say that, so he shortened it to Bun. They love their “new” names, and we think the names will stick, since he is the first grandchild!Bunny: My husband called his grandmother “Bunny”. It came about because, even though her name was Marie, she had an old boyfriend who used to call her Bunny. Her son-in-law (my husband’s father) kidded her about this and called her Bunny too, so the kids started using it, and it stuck.Busia & JaJa: always called my polish grandparents Busia and JaJa (not sure of the spelling), so I have my grandkids call me Busia.Butchy: I know a boy where I work…he calls his grandmother Butchy….it is grandma in a different language…I cant remember what one.Buttons: submitted by Jody SantagateCherry & Papa Monster: on my husband’s side, Cherry and Papa Monster (for Cheryl and Monte, who also didn’t want normal names)CeCe and Papa: My in-laws chose these names over 26 years ago when our oldest was born. To this day my mother in law introduces herself to everyone as CeCe (It came from her initials.)Cesha (Sesha): My maternal grandmother’s first name is Ceshlova (seshlava) but all her friends call her Jessie. When the grandkids started to arrive she was not ready to be grandma so she decided on the shorter version of her given Polish name, Cesha (sesha). I love it and could’t imagine her as anything else!Chicken Nana– My kids called both their grandparents nana and papa. My parents have a farm with chickens, rabbits, ducks and geese on it. On the way to there home one night I told my son we were going to nana’s. He said “which one”, I said “nana that has the. Spelling Monster: practice spelling with monsters.
