Silly wishers

In Repeat's universe, Wishes are an important plot element. They are essentially spectral manifestations of wishes wished by people with an ability to manipulate circumstances and conditions around them.Appearance[]Wishes are generally incorporeal and their spiritual form usually resembles their wisher, primary examples being Echo and Halley. Despite having no physical body, they can acquire a vessel to reside in, such as Edelweiss, and Halley seems to have found a way to replace her heart with a mechanical one as to not feel emotions. Wishes' forms are not completely identical to bodies of their wishers, and are shown to have smaller or bigger differences when compared. If it exerts itself over limit, Wish can gradually begin falling apart as seen with Echo, where his form began shattering.Corrupted Wishes, known as Remnants, lose their similarities with their wishers and gain default, blackened appearance.Abilities[] Echo when he activates his powers. Manipulation of Circumstances and Situations[]The most distinct feature of a Wish is that it can dictate the circumstances and situations in their vicinity. This is first exhibited if Euca decides to call for Echo's help during the argument between Mr. Dolores and Sissel, causing a strong wind to blow away Mr. Dolores's wig. Echo informs Euca, however, that Wishes do not have the power to cause things. Instead, Wishes operate by manipulating current circumstances and situations that occur around them. In other words, Echo did not direct a strong gush of wind at Mr. Dolores – the wind was merely blowing. Echo managed to manipulate the strength of this condition, increasing the strength of wind that was simply there. Similar thing occurred during Euca's first encounter with Halley. Halley's curse was based on a simple situation that Euca could get ill and have a fever at any moment.Wishes cannot operate over their limit without serious consequences to their form as seen with Echo, who struggled over and over again to help Euca have an advantage in the situation. A Wish's time of visibility by its wisher reduces, and in extreme cases their form will start to deteriorate.Stealth[]Every Wish works on wisher's behalf in a successful manner as they cannot be noticed by anyone else other than their wisher and if in their radius, other Wishes. This feature has proven itself difficult for Euca when Echo appears next to him, distracting him from the conversation and making him seemingly talk to no one in particular (Echo's random appearances have been a gag for first several days of plot). It is unknown how exactly wisher's relationship with their Wish fits into this, seeing that Jinny did not seem to notice Halley at all during her first encounter with Euca.
