Build A Boat For Treasure (often abbreviated as BABFT or BAB) is a Roblox game developed by Chillz Studios, headed by Chillthrill709. The game focuses on building boats or other contraptions to survive various challenging areas, called stages, and reaching the treasure chest at the end.Boats[]Boats are the key to victory in this "build-to-survive"-type game. The stronger the boat is, the more likely it is to survive the various obstacles on the journey to the treasure. To that end, players typically join teams, combining their blocks to work toward that goal.Stages[]As players progress through the game, they will encounter dangerous stages. Each stage has its own obstacles, such as rocks or waves. They serve as a test for the player's boat-building skills.Treasure[]Players are rewarded a treasure after surviving every stage on the map. At the very end, there is a drop from a waterfall into a set of rock spikes. If the player survives, their boat floats to a sandbank, where the player may collect the titular treasure. When opened, it rewards players with a handful of Gold and a gold block. The amount of gold depends on how fast the player goes through the stages. It is rather weak, but still is better than Rusted Block. Because of its texture, it is often used to create clean, untextured builds.The Metal Block is heavy, weighing 7 balloons. As the block is both heavy and considerably weaker than the equally-heavy Titanium Block, Metal may not be very useful to players in some circumstances, such as building controllable boats powered by Boat Motors.Obtaining[]Metal Blocks can only be found in Uncommon Chests. Beginning on 08/22/2019, it can also be purchased in packs of 50 for 325 Gold in the Shop.Appearance[]The Metal Block is a rather plain block, sporting a solid, earthly-brown color, which one might mistake for clay. Texture-wise, it appears almost identical to the Plastic Block at first glance. Upon closer inspection, the Metal Block has a darker shade than Plastic when painted. It also has scratches that the Plastic Block lacks.
