Download reaper 64 bit daw

Ticked - and not the “portable”. It's running in a brand new virgin ADK windows 7 computer jacked up specifically for music by ADK –I see REAPERRewireDev.dll in the Reaper X64 in a group of other items (not in a sub folder) When I search in start for rewire and the Reaper Icon REAPER (64)(ReWire slavemode) and when I check “properties” it says location: REAPER x 64 Target: C:\Programfiles\REAPER (X64) reaper.exe’-rewire “ When I click on it to open it- Reaper starts to open and then a promp stops it that says “ReWire Slave Error:No mixer application appears to be running” I click on “OK” and it closes . I find rewire dll. under C:\ Program Files\ Common Files\ Propellerhead Software\ Rewire – but nothing comes up in reaper when I add it the VST path or copy it to other existing pathsI see and can load all my other usual Reaper/JS/Stilwell VSTs - Any ideas? When I opened it, it brought up a 64 bit instance of Reaper as a slave(?!)I just went to go confirm that fact.... but once again ,ReWire is missing from the plug-ins ........ while all all my other reaper plug-ins are still there. If your system is 64-bit, then you will be able to run them even if your Reaper is 32-bit. Hello, I use Win7/64-Bit, REAPER v4.402/64-Bit and the LAME MP3 encoder v3.98.3/64-Bit patch. Unfortunately REAPER produced at the MP3 rendering glitches and artifacts. Here's a Sample. I suspect that it is due to the LAME MP3 Encoder v3.98.3/64-Bit-Patch. When I render a wav from REAPER and then convert with foobar2000/32-Bit the WAV to MP3 with the LAME MP3 Encoder v3.99.5/64-Bit, then there are no artifacts. Unfortunately, I can not use the LAME MP3 Encoder dll v3.99.5/64-Bit in REAPER. I have to tell my Mac to start Reason in 32 bit mode. Could it be a Mac issue? Have you checked the Propellerhead forums to see if anybody else is having problems? Reaper supports 64-bit rewire as a slave and host. What version of Reason are you using? I'm Win7/64 and have no issues running Reaper and Reason 7 (both 64 bit) rewired. Possibly do a search on these forums to see if others have had issues and solved them? My fresh full install on my new computer. I have it on my other computer (laptop)that’s also 64 bit – but I didn’t realize until this week I’ve been running a 32 bit version for the last few years. Might Reaper see it installed/avail on your systems from another program install like reason? No, you have to install it with Reaper. Did you install Reaper(x64)to the default directory given during the installation process? Try a search (You'll have to do a customized Win7 *everywhere* search to find it)) of your OS to see if the .dll file is located somewhere else. If you installed the portable version like vitalker asked, rewire won't install with that. Also check: Users/(name)/AppData/Roaming/Reaper/ and click on the file REAPER-rewire.ini See if a line in there might be pointing to different folder than your Reaper(x64) folder.
