There are two main scanning options: Use a Mat and Without a Mat. With the Use a Mat option, you will first need to print out a special mat on a piece of paper and place the object on it. The images are then processed on the iPhone to create a 3D model. Alternatively, the Without a Mat option (requiring an upgrade to Premium) enables you to scan objects without using a mat; in this case, the images are uploaded to the Qlone Cloud and processed into a 3D model.
