Bach met. After discussing back and forth about musical directions, Back opting for a milder stylistic expression and Bach in favour of a slightly harder sound, Baku was eventually formed. More than just a band, they developed and took to the road a complete multimedia project named My Bequest, which subsequently was issued on CD as Sequences of My Bequest in 1991 and the EP Ballads of My Bequest a year later. Following this initial show the band was in need of a new guitarist, which halted proceedings somewhat. But in 1993 one Marcus Waloschik filled this slot, and a new show was developed and taken to the road, this one called Dirge on the Pyre.
