Pogba 2025 Wallpaper, Pogba DAB Wallpaper, Pogba 2025 Wallpaper ThreadThis season our shot quality has been subpar of a top side’s usual chances and this was illustrated greatly in the 0-1 defeat to Aston Villa yesterday. Here’s an analysis of each open play attempt which makes for a damning report on both the players and coaching staff: 1) Bruno Fernandes (1:27)This was one of the best opportunities in the game and came via a transition. Bruno’s touch, though, wasn’t good and it forced the ball to bounce which turned an easier chance (ground) into a harder one (volley).A good opportunity → a subpar chance. 2) Mason Greenwood (7:28)Mason drives well and CR creates space by dragging a defender away. However, Mason eventually comes up against triple coverage which becomes quadruple coverage. He should be aware enough to lay it off to Bruno here but he doesn’t think this way. 3) Cristiano Ronaldo (10:22)CR is given space but he decides to shoot from 26 metres—one of many poor long range attempts from us—instead of looking at Pogba who would’ve had a one-on-one and an option to pass to Mason. 4) Mason Greenwood (17:01)This is an excellent opportunity + good chance. Mason could’ve passed to Bruno but he’s in a good situation himself. The actual issue is his execution. He connects the back-end of the side foot which means he couldn’t direct it wider than he did. 5) Paul Pogba (23:03)Bruno’s cutback takes a deflection and Pogba takes a touch to settle it. However, he’s immediately closed down by three players. Shaw is completely free and definitely should’ve been used here but, again, there was a lack of collective play. 6) Bruno Fernandes (23:48)We attempt a schemed corner but Bruno doesn’t execute the pass properly. Then, he decides to shoot from ~25 metres despite being closed down and having two AV players in the way. It was a really poor but common decision. 7) Paul Pogba (24:01)Straight after Pogba takes a poor quality shot from distance. ThreadThis season our shot quality has been subpar of a top side’s usual chances and this was illustrated greatly in the 0-1 defeat to Aston Villa yesterday. Here’s an analysis of each open play attempt which makes for a damning report on both the players and coaching staff: 1) Bruno Fernandes (1:27)This was one of the best opportunities in the game and came via a transition. However, CR, frustrated with a lack of service, takes a poor shot. 16) Paul Pogba (70:02)Pogba plays a 1-2 with Bruno and ends up with a good opportunity but he fires wide. He should’ve gone to the opposite side but that angle could’ve been challenged by the defender. In any case this was a good opportunity. 17) Mason Greenwood (71:17)AWB drives ~35 metres forward, taking on three players and playing a great pass to Mason. However, his first touch is very bad — the ball pops up and moves further than he wanted. He recovers well but then takes another poor shot. 18) Mason Greenwood (71:37)Bruno draws a defender and plays it to Mason. Then, Bruno and AWB stop moving entirely whilst McTominay doesn’t offer himself well. Mason, on the other hand, shoots again in a poor situation. He really should’ve been taken off by now. 19) Paul Pogba (74:29)Pogba drives ~60 metres on the ball, taking on four players. He eventually arrives at a shooting position but, once again, it’d have to be an excellent finish to beat Martínez from here and Pogba shoots straight at him.Nothing changed… 20) Bruno Fernandes (82:30)Cavani’s on the pitch now and so Mason looks for the cross instead. However, it’s a little overhit and Bruno’s in a bad position to get enough power on it. We didn’t service CR and it took 82 minutes and a Cavani change before we looked at crossing. 21) Edinson Cavani (90:09)This was a low value cross that gained in value due to Cavani’s reading of its trajectory. He ends up getting a good connection on the ball and it leads to the penalty. It was a subpar opportunity turned into decent chance due to Edi. 22) Mason Greenwood (93:39)Yet, Mason didn’t learn. We potentially outnumber AV in the box for a cross and Mason’s fast enough to go around the side. Yet, he’s so focused on shooting again and it’s a poor shot. We had 22 open play attempts yesterday which only came up to 0.98 xG which is an average of 0.04 per attempt — really poor.Yet,

Sidelines. 8) Bruno Fernandes (24:16)It was Bruno’s turn again and it’s unsurprising that it led to another block. These poor long shots are repetitive issues for us which are indicative of a coaching problem — either that or the players are refusing to listen. 9) Cristiano Ronaldo (24:45)CR cuts in from the left but has triple coverage around him. Yes, we’ve seen him score from this position before but rarely when guarded by three players. Yet, his mind is made up and the shot is easily blocked. 10) Frederico Rodrigues (24:52)Bruno lays the ball off to Fred and he has a good opportunity to find McTominay who could either shoot or lift it into the far post where we have four players ready. Instead, Fred shoots from distance—I’ve discussed that before—and it’s well over. 11) Mason Greenwood (42:46)Mason receives a rebound and decides to shoot first time despite having an immediate blocker and then four-man traffic to shoot through. It was a poor decision and simply adds to all the poor quality shots we’d already had by then. 12) Paul Pogba (60:11)CR draws a triple team and plays an excellent pass to McTominay who sets Pogba up with an easy to control pass. However, by nature, it leaves a predictable shot trajectory for Pogba who has the smallest of targets to aim for.Again, it’s a bad chance. 13) Mason Greenwood (64:27)This is a potentially great opportunity that becomes a decent chance on the transition. Bruno’s pass is slightly underhit and Mason takes two touches to gather it which forces him wide. He shoots a tame shot at Martínez. 14) Mason Greenwood (68:48)This is another transition opportunity that could’ve been great but it ends up being a poor chance due to Mason wanting to score. The me-first football we saw from our players yesterday, it wasn’t just Mason, was so detrimental for the team. 15) Cristiano Ronaldo (69:56)Pogba wins the ball really well as it allows us to begin a half-pitch transition. Mason plays an early ball looking for Bruno but CR controls it — it would’ve been cut out otherwise.
