Or just felt as if something was missing in the world? Well this is the mod for you. Requirements Permissions and credits I am not currently working on this project anymore - I fixed some things as described below, but I found other issues (not gamebreaking but still noticeable) I wasn't able to figure out. I am keeping this published for people who still want to use it as is regardless, and for people with more advanced skills than me who might like to edit it to their liking.A note on this port: WARP - World Assets Recycle Project used to be available both on LE and SE, but after its update last year, the SE version has been set as hidden and as far as I can tell there is no ETA for an official port. Since I had tinkered with the mod in the past, and the permissions are open for modification, I decided to make a port myself, and as I did so I also had the chance to add a couple of extra tweaks (more on that later).Since it's a large mod that affects many details scattered all over the game, I can't tell I have tested all of it. Start the quest as soon as you speak with Paarthurnax about meditations (available right after you meet him for the first time). If that conversation is done, it will start when you speak to him again ("I wish to meditate on the words of power"). From this point onwards, you can meditate and gain new powers. After the initial dialogue, a new quest (RotmulaagMeditationsQuest) will start and new objective will pop-up, asking you to start a journal by finding an empty book (stage 10). Any ruined or burned book will do. (having it in your inventory after speaking with Paarthurnax will automatically move the quest to stage 20. I've placed one near the Notched Pickaxe for your convenience). You'll be granted a book "Paarthurnax's Teachings". Paarthurnax's Teachings is not a quest item, you can drop it, though the mod will detect that and the meditation writing scripts won't work until you place it in your inventory. Important: the objectives for the quest are always updated (new are added, fulfilled are marked as complete) after speaking with Paarthurnax. If you have just learned a word of a new shout, and you don't get message "Meditate on X" - it's not a bug, it's a feature. At that moment, you will most likely get a notification spam asking you to meditate on all your known shouts... well, except a few. (Before we begin, yes I stole the name of this post from a mod, and because I'm nice, I'll link it here.)If you have played through Skyrim's main quest, you know who Paarthurnax is. The ever popular question: "Did you kill him?" Well? Did you??? I'd say that I won't judge if you did kill him, but that would be a lie. I couldn't kill him and don't think that I ever could.When the Blades gave me this quest, I was literally sick to my stomach. I didn't want to do it! He helped me, he understood me and what I was going through when no one else did. I'm half dragon! I'm Dovahkiin. The dragons are my kin! I stopped playing the main quest for a while and focused on other quests. When I finished many of them, I turned my gaze back to Paarthurnax. I visited him often and tried to think of what to do. I turned to Google. I hadn't modded Skyrim yet and was reluctant to do so (I don't know why), so I cheated instead. Since I play on PC, I followed a walkthrough to change the outcome with console commands.I swear that Paarthurnax says this just to tug at our heartstrings. I know that the Blades say that he did terrible things, but don't we all in our adolescence? We all do things we're not proud of but he is doing his best to make up for it. He did overcome his evil nature to become a generally good dragon-being. These are a few of the reasons I could not and can not kill Paarthurnax.And now, your daily gif!
