Face is below his top block.Nine is the third square number to appear in the series and the biggest square in Series 2.Nine is the second male odd Numberblock. The first is Seven, the third is Thirteen, the fourth is Seventeen, and the fifth is Twenty-Three.Nine’s voice has gotten deeper in Series 3.Nine's blocks have gotten darker since Series 5.He is the only Numberblock from One to Ten to not have his number of something on his body. For example, One has one eye, Two has two shoes, Three has three juggling balls, etc.Originally, in Series 2, he was a Numberblock who was prone to sneezing out his "nose" (middle block), at first usually being indicated by it tingling and looking uneven. In later seasons, this has became more or less prominent of him, to the point that the other squares can also sneeze out their middle blocks. Despite this, Numberblocks still considers him "a little sneezy". However, sometimes Nine puts his sneezing to good use, such as in Now in 3D, to put a stop to Octonaughty, and in The Twelve Days of Christmas, to help substitute One for her singing line.Nine was given differing body part colours in blocking shots as to make him easier to animate. This seems to have carried over to Meet the Numberblocks!, where for some reason 9's legs are red.Nine is the first Numberblock to not start out in his vertical arrangement, neither make it in his debut. and the only Orange Level Two Numberblock to do so. This is because when he was made, One jumped into Eight's hole rather than on top of him, because Four was sad for being the only square. A similar case happens with Thirteen, except it's him not making his Tens & Ones arrangement.Nine is the third semi-prime, the first being Four and the second being Six.Nine is the smallest composite odd Numberblock, whereas the smallest composite even number is Four.Nine is the first Numberblock with a “nose,” the second being Six(implied in Counting Sheep with her presumable allergy to the sheep tail), third being Eighty-One, and finally Three (implied by her sniffing when she first meets I).Nine is the first square that is the opposite gender of their square root, as he is male, while Three is female. The next four are Sixteen, Thirty-Six, Forty-Nine, and Sixty-Four.As he always sneezes when he is in his Square arrangement, this may indicate his “tickly nose” is caused by an allergy to being square. As seen in Five's Handy Shop, he may have an allergy to pollen, as he sneezed after he sniffed the flowers.Nine is the first multiple of Three to not be a Step Squad.Nine is the first odd Numberblock whose main arrangement is not their tallest. He sounds like the Colourblock Sky Blue. This is due to them both being voiced by David Holt. Most characters in Alphablocks have similar voices to Nine also.He is the smallest male Numberblock to be in the Three Times Table.Errors[]In the Numberblocks colouring page in the CBeebies Special Magazine Issue 113, 9 mistakenly has 4's eyebrows.[]Orders of Magnitude[]NinetyNine HundredNinety ThousandTimes Table[]Nine Times TableGallery[]Click here.Numberblocks charactersNumberblocksDiscoveredZero, One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten, Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen, Fourteen, Fifteen, Sixteen, Seventeen, Eighteen, Nineteen, Twenty, Twenty-One, Twenty-Two, Twenty-Three, Twenty-Four, Twenty-Five, Twenty-Six, Twenty-Seven, Twenty-Eight, Twenty-Nine, Thirty, Thirty-One, Thirty-Two, Thirty-Five, Thirty-Six, Forty, Forty-Two, Forty-Five, Forty-Eight, Forty-Nine, Fifty, Fifty-Four, Fifty-Five, Fifty-Six, Sixty, Sixty-Three, Sixty-Four, Seventy, Seventy-Two, Eighty, Eighty-One, Ninety, One HundredUndiscovered / Non-physicalNinety-Nine, Two Hundred, Three Hundred, Nine Hundred, One Thousand, Seven Thousand, Ninety Thousand, Two Million, Seven Million, Eight Million, Nine Million, Orders of Magnitude, Compound NumberblocksAlter-EgosThe Terrible Twos, Octoblock, The Three Threes, Octonaughty, Step Squad, The Four FoursNon-integersPiMonstersFlapjack Snaffler, Blockzilla, Big Tum, TwangleTimes TablesOne Times Table, Two Times Table, Three Times Table, Four Times Table, Five Times Table, Six Times Table, Seven Times Table, Eight Times Table, Nine Times Table, Ten Times TableOtherFluffies, Squarey, Oblongy, Numberblobs, Aliens, Rainbows, Flatlanders, Sheep, Birds, What-Iffer, Octo-Computer, Rex and Rekenrek, Alphablocks, Colourblocks

“I feel fine!” — Nine, Multiple occasionsNine, or 9, is a character in Numberblocks. He debuts in the episode with the same name.He is voiced by David Holt. Appearance[]Nine is a Numberblock made up of nine blocks with three shades of grey on every three blocks. He has blueish-grey square-shaped eyes (because he is 3 x 3), a mouth, and limbs. He also has two eyebrows of the same colour with a long rounded rectangle shape.Personality and Traits[]Like Four, he likes to be a square. He is considered an introvert, and mostly mingles with the squares rather than other Numberblocks. Despite this, Nine is still a helpful friend, as shown in The Three Threes and Mirror, Mirror. It is unknown if Nine actually fears round things, because in Eleven, it is seen that he is not afraid of round things, but in Square Club it is seen that he is afraid of them. His most notable trait is that of sneezing. Whenever he sneezes, he launches out his middle block and becomes Eight. This is apparently because he has a "tickly nose". How hard he launches it has varying degrees of strength; on one hand, it is not shot very far away, while on the other, it is shot hard enough to push buttons, knock down others, and even break machinery. It is even demonstrated that he can also sneeze into three Threes, propelling them in the process. Usually, the One runs back into Eight's hole to recreate Nine, though in one case it ran away from him. In the rare occasions, it's shown that he may feel like splitting into three Threes all of the sudden. This group is known as the Three Threes, who tend to not have very good coordination with others, even themselves. For example, they explicitly shrug off the Four Fours' request for them to help, and they try and open One's honey jar in their own ways.Sometimes, he has insecurities. As seen in Ten, he was upset because he always becomes one smaller whenever he sneezes. In Now You See Us, he was disappointed that he wasn't as colourful as Seven, because he was just grey. Despite this, Nine is very positive and is a proud square.LearningBlocks.tv website's description[]Numberblock Nine is a square like Four but bigger and stronger. He often gets a tickly nose, and if he doesn’t get to a hankie in.
