CTRLCLICK a Link = Link opens in a new tab, but tab doesn't
#1 I want safari, to behave the following:I click a link - safari opens the link in the SAME tab.I click a link, holding command - safari opens the link in a new tab. What is broken now:Everytime, I click a link, safari opens it in a darn new window. I have to drag the new tab from the new window into the old window, search for the old tab, I wanted to be exchanged and close it. Often this is only possible after moving the new darn window to the side, to give space for finding the old window, while moving the tab. This drives me insane! Is there a setting, I missed, or is safari simply this limited? #2 I want safari, to behave the following:I click a link - safari opens the link in the SAME tab.I click a link, holding command - safari opens the link in a new tab. What is broken now:Everytime, I click a link, safari opens it in a darn new window. Not sure about same tab, but you can get it to open in same window but a different tab -- just go to Safari Prefs and at the bottom of 'General' select '...in a new tab...' #3 Not sure about same tab, but you can get it to open in same window but a different tab -- just go to Safari Prefs and at the bottom of 'General' select '...in a new tab...' No - this setting is only applied to external opened links.Opening links within safari pops new windows open and raises my blood pressure.
