This is a problem because I believe it has something to do with a crash that I experience at the beginning of a new game, but I can't find an answer for this. I deleted MCM (conflicting mod) and both NMM and FOMM say there aren't any other conflicts (I had UI editors, but I got rid of them too.) Here's my load order if it's required. Four tiny patches for the underrated Western Sky mod:- Remove insane blue glow from The Strip. It is still "blueish" but in such a way that it doesn't bother me.- Sound fix for sandstorms, they are no longer silent.- Better visibility for sandstorms.- Disable sandstorms alltogether.- Replace static towering clouds for moving vanilla clouds.Note: The sandstorms have an effect of -4 Perception and +20 sneak.You need the original mod of course: Western Sky.I like that mod because of the overall cinematic feel which to me is arefreshment from the popular "realist" weathers.And I like simplicity. I'd rather have one good weather instead of 350weathers that often look alike.Nevada skies also has a "Western Skies" weather, but it is quitedifferent. It has much more muted colors and doesn't have thefifties technicolor feel anymore. The cloud.nif file constantly showsa thundercloud, and it is broken. Then I disabled Project Nevada, I forget if I disabled Nevada Skies with this. Still crashing. Then Alternative Start with Project Nevada active. Still crashing.

This mod is really good, it changes the image of the game completely!Anyway, I was installing the mods of the 3 videos of Gopher, but after installing Nevada Skies I have 2 problems.1- I installed the NSkies mod (0.7 data, 0.7.1 vanilla edition, URWLified) and all look better than before, but now there is a little difference between the First Person view and the Third Person view, the first is ligther than third, for example I can see the clouds at nigth with the first person view but no in third person view.2- The enemies turn red when I aim with my gun (any gun), I didn't activate any mod after NSkies, it suddenly happened and I don't know how to change it because the game became very easy (I can see any enemy easily). I'm not using a helmet and glasses. I just have the mods installed of the 2 videos before. It happened after playing several hours with NSkies installed (no from the beginning).Comments
This is a problem because I believe it has something to do with a crash that I experience at the beginning of a new game, but I can't find an answer for this. I deleted MCM (conflicting mod) and both NMM and FOMM say there aren't any other conflicts (I had UI editors, but I got rid of them too.) Here's my load order if it's required. 2025-03-30Four tiny patches for the underrated Western Sky mod:- Remove insane blue glow from The Strip. It is still "blueish" but in such a way that it doesn't bother me.- Sound fix for sandstorms, they are no longer silent.- Better visibility for sandstorms.- Disable sandstorms alltogether.- Replace static towering clouds for moving vanilla clouds.Note: The sandstorms have an effect of -4 Perception and +20 sneak.You need the original mod of course: Western Sky.I like that mod because of the overall cinematic feel which to me is arefreshment from the popular "realist" weathers.And I like simplicity. I'd rather have one good weather instead of 350weathers that often look alike.Nevada skies also has a "Western Skies" weather, but it is quitedifferent. It has much more muted colors and doesn't have thefifties technicolor feel anymore. The cloud.nif file constantly showsa thundercloud, and it is broken. The sandstorms of Nevada Skieshowever are way better. See last screenshot for comparison.INSTALL:Use only one of two Western Sky files, and add the patch files youwant.
