Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. Play/Pause starts playing music instead of pausing podcast I'm having an issue with the play/pause function in IOS9. I am having this problem now that I've switched to iOS9 and iOS9.0.1. When I'm in instacast or iHeartRadio, after I press the pause button, an MP3 will start playing instead of just pausing my podcast or music. Also when I press play, the music pauses and does not play my podcast. This also occurs on the swipe up screen with all of the controls on it.If I reboot my phone, the proper functionality is restored for a while but not permanently. I'm not sure what specific event causes it to behave improperly again. This is on my iPhone 5S. iPhone 5s, iOS 9.0.1 Posted on Sep 30, 2015 9:06 AM Posted on Oct 24, 2015 7:36 PM I talked with Apple again. It turns out that I'm using Instacast, which is not being supported any longer. This means that it was probably not updated to reflect any changes implemented in iOS9. The whole play pause issue is probably caused by iOS8 apps running in an iOS9 environment.Stitcher works and the iOS podcasts app works so you are good there. The short answer is, try a new app. Play/Pause starts playing music instead of pausing podcast

Spotify is one of the most popular music streaming platforms worldwide, and whether you’re a new user or a seasoned listener, understanding its interface is essential for making the most of the app. One of the most important aspects of Spotify’s interface is the range of buttons available to users. These buttons control playback, settings, and access to features, allowing users to customize their listening experience. Let’s break down what each button means on Spotify, so you can easily navigate the platform.1. Play Button (▶️)The play button is perhaps the most essential button in Spotify. It starts and stops music playback. When you tap or click the play button on a song, album, playlist, or podcast, it begins playing. The play button turns into a pause button (⏸️) when music is actively playing, and tapping it again will stop the music.Located: At the center of the playback bar at the bottom of the screen, or next to individual songs when browsing playlists and albums.2. Pause Button (⏸️)The pause button is the opposite of the play button. When you press pause, it stops the music or podcast. This allows you to take a break or resume listening at a later time. The pause button will appear when you are already playing something on Spotify.Located: In the same place as the play button, on the playback bar at the bottom or next to the song.3. Skip Forward (⏭️) and Skip Backward (⏮️) ButtonsThese buttons allow you to skip tracks quickly. The skip
