Krunkies (KR) are the in-game currency for Krunker.io, and were introduced in update 0.9.99992.How to Earn[]You can earn Krunkies through several methods. WARNING: Any 3rd party website/server/person claiming they can "generate" free KR are all scams. Below are the only methods to earn KR legitimately, please use them.Playing the Game[]When playing on public servers, players can gain 1 KR for every 100 points you score (up to 30 KR per round, 40 KR with premium). Besides selling items on the market, this is the most rewarding.Challenge Mode, introduced in update v1.1.5, increases the KR earned after a round by 1.5%, also raising KR limit per round to 45. However, this comes at the cost of a halved maximum health as well as being unable to regenerate health.Buying Premium increases the cap on KR earned per round to 40 KR. Note: Premium costs 2,000 KR for 7 days, 7,500 KR for 30 days, 14,000 KR for 60 days, or 19,000 KR for 90 days.Mapmakers can deposit KR into their custom maps, which can be rewarded to players in different ways. For example, a 100 KR prize for completing a parkour section. The mapmaker must provide and replenish the KR themselves, to prevent any abuse.Free KR Button[] Old free KR button New free KR button Free KR spin as of update 3.3.1, giving 5 KR. I received the new SD card for my Xite system to change the GPS from Rand McNally (discontinued) to the new NavNGo GPS that comes on new Xite infotainment systems. It's costs $250 and is available from Riverpark's tech support dept. You just pop out the old SD card and insert the new one. That's all.I haven't used it for travel yet, but the setup was easy and I was able to add the first stop on my upcoming trip after Labor Day. We'll see how it goes then. I was very used to Rand McNally and had no real problems using that software. My favorite thing was designing my whole RV trip using my desktop computer and then importing it into the RAND system. I used RAND's Mapmaker website to set up the destinations.I don't know if anything like that is available for NavNGo, but I'll be looking around for that over the next few days. Here are some photos of the new GPS system: NavNgo SD.jpg 72.8 KB · Views: 94 navngo-3.jpg 68.7 KB · Views: 78 navngo-4.jpg 66.3 KB · Views: 87 navngo-5.jpg 75.6 KB · Views: 85 navngo-6.jpg 68.8 KB · Views: 82 I took a look at the "NaviExtras" website to see about Map Updates. It seems they are $79.95 for a year. This is for USA only - though you can add maps for most everywhere in the world to your purchase. Here's how you update your maps: I downloaded the Mac version of the iGO "Naviextras Toolbox" and installed it without any problems on my iMac.I used a card reader to connect the toolbox to my NavNGo SD card and it was smooth sailing. First, I learned that everything was up to date on the new card and the toolbox said there was nothing to update - software, maps, POIs or anything. The "History" function said my card has the following maps installed: Map of USA and Canada 2021 Q4mDealType9837729004 - title Expiration: 18 August 2023 By the way, you'll need to make an account a www.naviextras.com and select Xite Solutions as your device type. An account is just an email address and password - they haven't asked for any other info.I made a backup of the SD card via the tool box, but I have no idea where that was saved. It might be on the SD card, but I couldn't find it. And I don't see it on my computer. It's possible it was saved on the Naviextras server.I wondered if the new SD card was keyed to my Xite core unit like the previous SD card was and it seems to be. My card info shows a unique device ID number.Hope all. Define mapmaker. mapmaker synonyms, mapmaker pronunciation, mapmaker translation, English dictionary definition of mapmaker. n. Now, you can hike the Pacific Crest Trail with digital maps born of a partnership between National Geographic Maps and Halfmile. In 2017, National Geographic teamed up with thru-hiker and mapmaker Lon “Halfmile” Cooper to produce maps that included both NatGeo’s meticulous cartography and Halfmile’s firsthand notes and insider information. The result contains careful annotations about trail mileages, official and unofficial campsites, water sources, and other points of interest. Gaia GPS started converting and uploading those maps this spring, adding first Washington, then Oregon. Now, we’ve reached the finish line with one final push to add the entirety of the trail through California. (National Geographic has also released the PCT California maps in print.) About the PCT in California For most thru-hikers, the journey starts in California. North bounders hikers toe the Mexican border, then set off through Campo and into the Laguna Mountains and the stark beauty of the Southern California desert. The following sections of trail contain some of the most iconic landmarks along the entire PCT. Think giant sequoias, the granite monoliths of Yosemite National Park, and 14,491-foot Mount Whitney, the highest point in the Lower 48. In total, California holds 1,692 miles of the PCT—over half the trail. Whether you’re out to hike the whole thing, hunting for your next big backpacking adventure, or scouting scenic day hikes near Los Angeles or Sacramento, the NatGeo Pacific Crest Trail map layer has everything you need to plan and execute a smooth trip. How to Use the NatGeo Pacific Crest Trail Map Layer You can access the NatGeo Pacific Crest Trail map layer—in addition to weather forecasts, wildfire overlays, and other premium maps—with a Gaia GPS Premium Membership. To access the map layer, follow these steps: First, download the Gaia GPS app. It’s available on the App Store for iOS devices and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. Open up the Map Manager. Go to United States > NatGeo Pacific Crest Trail, and tap the green plus-sign to add it to your main map. Scroll across the main map to find your upcoming section of trail. Then, download maps for offline use.mapmaker/INSTALL.ME at master kentavv/mapmaker - GitHub

“mystery hole” in the winter sea ice of Antarctica’s Weddell Sea was documented: a massive, New Zealand-sized void of open sea when one would think ice cover would be thickest and most continuous. This mysterious hole in Antarctica reappeared in the mid- and late 2010s, with a 13,000-square-mile (33,000-square-km) gap opening in August 2016, and a 19,000-square-mile (50,000-square-km) one appearing in September and October of 2017. Another mystery hole opened up in 2019, too. Those more recent mystery holes offered a unique opportunity to study what was going on. The technical term for these sea-ice holes is polynya, derived from the Russian language. They’re best known from coastal locations, but the main Weddell Sea hole opens well off the coast: a so-called mid-sea polynya.Recent research suggests a variety of factors are at play in forming and maintaining these winter gaps in the sea ice, with powerful storms and the topsy-turvy oceanic circulation they set in play an important one.Scientists continue to study midsea Antarctic polynyas, partly to scrutinize what effects they may have on the climate: It’s possible these windows in the ice outgas significant amounts of the carbon otherwise stored away in Antarctic deep water. The Piri Reis MapA portion of a 1513 nautical chart of the world made by Ottoman admiral Piri Reis, rediscovered in 1929, became a piece of “evidence” in the 1950s and ‘60s for the possibility of a bygone Antarctic civilization.Considered utterly bogus by experts, this theory proposes that the southern landmass depicted in the bottom left corner of the Piri Reis Map shows an ice-free section of Antarctica, and that the Ottoman mapmaker used cartographic information from an ancient people inhabiting that polar realm to draw that portion.Piri Reis’s own notes confirm he used multiple sources to compile his world map, including charts from Christopher Columbus, but none of the evidence put forth by proponents of that ancient-Antarctic-civilization theory holds water. Indeed, map scholars point out that the strange eastward jog that the map’s southern landmass takes may well simply reflect the fact that otherwise Piri Reis’s coastal line would have run off the edge of the parchment. The Lake Vostok Monster Octopus (Organism 46B)In 2012 a Russian drilling crew historically breached the subglacial Lake Vostok, the first ever to probe a subglacial lake. The world was awash with fanciful notions that, having been completely cut off from the surface world for an estimated 14 million years, any life found there might be something out of the realm of science fiction—prehistoric creatures or life forms that could have a potentially devastating effect on mankind.Rumors quickly surfaced of the team having a deathly encounter with a bizarre and deadly life form—a shape-shifting monster octopus mysteriously labeled as Organism 46b—and have been exaggerated further in recent years to say that the cryptid was actually captured and is subsequently now being militarized by the Putin regime.Thankfully this is a widely accepted as a work of fiction as the origin of this story can be traced back to C. Review summaryMicrosoft's Streets & Trips makes a fine backseat driver, but you should leave this version at the rest stop. This trip planner delivers accurate and easy-to-understand driving directions and comes with some useful mapping tools, but it still suffers the same limitations of last year's version--namely, its lack of online integration. Plus, at $40, it's one of the more expensive options of its kind. The Good Easy-to-read maps; accurate driving directions; lets you change routes with a single click; allows you to create custom pushpins on maps; calculates fuel costs. The Bad Lacks links to online reservation sites; still doesn't deliver good data on nearby attractions. The Bottom Line Microsoft's travel software gives good directions, but it needs some fine-tuning in the trip-planning department. If you're on the road a lot, you might be better off with a dedicated GPS device, such as the Garmin StreetPilot III. As for finding quirky roadside attractions, you'll need to do some good, old-fashioned legwork online. Streets & Trips 2004, like its predecessors, hogs disk space. But unless you want to keep the second CD in the drive every time you use Streets & Trips, we recommend installing the entire program instead of the minimum, even though it takes up 1GB. The program's interface remains familiar, with three easy-to-navigate panes: a map of your highlighted route in the center, driving directions at the top, and a task pane on the left for route planning and finding nearby attractions. A toolbar atop the center screen includes shortcuts to planning tools and a slider for zooming in on your map. Another toolbar at the bottom houses drawing tools for marking maps. Neither toolbar is customizable. "="" --="">/sc/30468935-2-300-SS1.gif" width="300" height="225" border="0" /> Microsoft's mapmaker notes potential bumps in the road so that you can reroute if you're especially time-crunched. Here, Streets & Trips gave us a heads-up about bridge work between San Francisco and Yerba Buena Island. To get started, simply enter starting and ending points, plus any intermediate stops. Click the Get Directions button, and your route pops up in seconds. If you decide to stop in Memphis instead of continuing on to Chattanooga, simply click the route on the map and drag it on top of Memphis; the program's Snap Routing feature automatically recalculates your journey. This program has an excellent range (it documents more than 6.7 million miles of roads in the United States and Canada), and in our tests, the directions were dead-on. The directions also note any bumps that may come up along the way by providing up-to-the-minute road construction information. Streets & Trips 2004 introduces a few minor new features. One-way streets are now color-coded and marked--a useful addition, though we wish Microsoft had used a slightly brighter color. Business travelers will love the new options for calculating the amount and cost of fuel on a per-trip basis. You can also plug in your average driving speed for a more accurate driving-time estimate. You can still mark favorite locales orComments
