Floor. However, we'll head for the other end of the floor once there, in order to reach a rotating dome and associated monocle. This time, we won't just be unlocking - something that's easy since the monocle's broken and only displays the right symbol - and linking the dome; but we'll also be using it to get to a new place: Prison Island, where we'll be making a small stop. To do so, we'll be heading to the central structure, and using the mechanism that's there to move the indicator to the Prison Island's corresponding glyph: . Unlike other Islands, you'll notice that this one's already connected. Still, don't forget to use it's mechanism to shoot a beam to the central platform before heading for the exit!Prison IslandThe first thing that'll happen once you reach Prison Island is that you'll unlock two achievements in one go: Life is taken; an Age is given: Arrive in Prison Island. He who numbers but does not name: Visit every island in the Age of Riven. We'll then take the ladder down from where the dome is and walk towards the big treestump that's in the middle of the island. The Prison Island TotemThe Prison Island Totem is quite peculiar in that it's got an associated puzzle. This is because the silhouette is not where we are, and hides instead on the side of another island - to find it, you'll need to approach a piece of root that's right next to a ladder, behind the totem, and which is marked with Moiety arrowheads. This'll reveal a telescope of sorts, which you should look into through its small lens - it's

Battleship Oasis Board GameBattleship Oasis Board Game is an offline battleship board web game available on the Chrome platform. In this game, two players take turns arranging five ships on their maps and then attempt to sink each other's ships by guessing their locations. The game continues until one player successfully sinks all of their opponent's ships. What sets Battleship Oasis apart from other battleship games is its unique feature of creating island blocks. Players can strategically place island blocks on their maps, preventing their opponent from placing ships in those areas. This adds an additional layer of strategy and makes the game more interesting.Another standout feature of Battleship Oasis is the use of a probability density map by the bot. This advanced algorithm helps the bot to determine the most probable locations of the opponent's ships, reducing the average number of turns required to win to just 17. Players can also turn on the density lens to gain insights into how the bot plays better under the hood.Overall, Battleship Oasis Board Game offers an engaging and strategic battleship experience with its unique island block feature and advanced bot algorithm. Whether you're a fan of the classic board game or looking for a new twist on battleship, this game is worth checking out.

AbstractHistorically, environmental degradation has often been the cost of concomitant urbanisation and industrialisation. China is no exception. Although China’s GDP has maintained the fastest average growth worldwide over the past four decades, the country has encountered multifaceted environmental challenges, with its ecosystems and biodiversity undergoing large-scale disruption. Since the 1990s, the central government has ushered in a series of campaigns, policies, and regulations focusing on an environmental agenda at different levels. This chapter tracks the shifting propositions of green infrastructure in China’s efforts during the eco-cities movement at the beginning of the 2000s and under the most recent Sustainable Development Zones (SDZs) initiative in 2016. This chapter analyzes the various planning principles, design approaches, and environmental, economic, and social considerations involved in the development of green infrastructure, both conceptually and through the lens of practice, in China’s search for a sustainable urban development model. Case analyses, comparative studies, and data analytics from social media are employed as research methods to examine how the concepts of environmental sustainability and green infrastructure have been evolving under the influence of locational dynamics and temporal characteristics in China. On the top end - while having the Lens equipped to finally reveal the animal silhouette - remember to take a screenshot or make a note: Meeting Catherine and heading backHaving noted the silhouette, we'll now be taking the ladder by us to get on top of the roots, and from there, another to get next to the prison's terrace. It's there where we'll first meet Catherine, although since we won't be able to free her, she won't say much, simply resorting to say we shouldn't lose to Gehn:Having spoken to Catherine and found the animal silhouette, use the dome to head back to Survey Island - remember that its glyph is .Survey Island (2)Accessing the Hidden FloorBack in Survey Island, all that's left for us to do is access yet another hidden portion, which is necessary in order to get back to Jungle Island and solve everything we left to do there. To do so, simply head back to the maglev, board it, then use its controls to turn it around. However, get off after doing so, without returning to Boiler Island - it's not something that you might think possible, but it actually is, as you can see in the pictures below: Just cross the door that's to the left of the maglev afterwards, and you'll reach a room that's full of a reddish substance (lava?). Look to your left, and there'll be a lever, which once pulled will bring up a lift: Board the lift and press the button that's there to go down, something that should unlock an achievement: Below the surface: Access the hidden floor on Survey Island. Back to Jungle Island...Get off the lift once in the bottom floor and all there'll be left for you to do is follow a corridor. This'll have you come upon Gehn's scribe, who'll begin running away from you:Run after the scribe to the end of the corridor, where another maglev station is, and observe as he leaves to obtain yet another achievement: Giving chase: Witness Gehn's scribe escape on the maglev. From here, all that's left for you

Shot in this conservatory-cafe, despite the mixed lighting conditions. Andrew Hoyle/CNETThe factory-installed screen protector is heavily marked from the abuse it received, but the display itself is perfect and a replacement protector would make the phone look as new. The IP68 rating also meant that it had no problem keeping the water out on the many times I shot footage in the rain, or being regularly drenched in water as I took a small boat trip out to the tiny island of Staffa. I'm surprised at how well this phone withstood the demands of my island adventure, particularly as it wasn't even in a case, which it most certainly would have been had I have spent my own money on it.It wasn't all upside, though. Here's what I didn't like about the Note 20 Ultra.Battery life could be betterUsing the phone to shoot a lot of 4K video footage with the screen brightness on max is an immense drain on power. But still, I was surprised at how quickly the phone seemed to suck away the juice, requiring a recharge from a mobile power pack in the midafternoon, despite having been fully charged at 9 a.m. that same day. Another success with the 5x zoom lens, this time being used to frame a pretty composition with the colourful houses in the harbour of Tobermory. I found myself having to be more and more sparing of when I used it and kept it in airplane mode to ensure that power wasn't being needlessly squandered on searching for nonexistent cellular signal (Mull is something of a blackspot, signal-wise). Video microphones pick up wind noiseBeing quite an exposed island in the Atlantic ocean, it's no surprise that the island can get very windy. I recorded my video using only the built-in mic and intentionally didn't use an external microphone with wind-shield to see how it performs. In extremely strong winds I didn't even bother trying to record myself talking on camera as any microphone would have failed. But even when the wind seemed gentle, many of my clips still suffered from wind noise. As a result, I recorded most of the dialogue in my film as voiceover at home, with only a few of the less-affected shots left in. You can still hear wind noise in the film though and it's a shame that some of the clips I shot had to be completely discarded. If you want to use the Note 20 as a vlogging camera, make sure you invest in a microphone that can plug into the USB-C port.

#1 I love using wide and fast lenses. I have a Panasonic 7-14mm lens and love it. I just wish it was a F2 at the wide end or something. I also have a 12mm F1.4 and wish it was wider sometimes. A while back I learned about the Olympus 8mm F1.8. I learned it defishes! I just have a question regarding the lens:When looking through live view or screen does it give you the defished view for pictures and videos?Do you think it could replace the 7-14mm and 12mm f1.4? I mostly stay at 7mm on the 7-14mm lens.Thank you! #2 Hi, I've got both the 8mm and the 7-14mm. If you have the e-m5 mk iii, the e-m1 mkii, iii or x, it can give you the defished view in the evf or the screen, otherwise not. You can set it to defish at different levels as described here 8mm fisheye correction - creative island photography The mid (no 2) corresponds to about 7mm, number 3 is more narrow, not sure its exactly like 12, think it's a little wider. Its a very sharp lens IMO even at f1.8 but when defished, a rectilinear lens like the 7-14 gets sharper towards the edges. But the 8mm is more compact and it's fun and creative to use even for rectilinear purposes. You can also avoid the very fishy looks by composing the images with that in mind, as having the horizon in the middle, keeping the camera straight both horizontally and vertically etc. #3 That's so cool! Which one do you use the most? I was thinking of selling maybe the 7-14mm in order to buy the 8mm. So in video it's also defished? I have the E-M1 Mark III. #4 The only down sides I find for the 8mm and the defishing is that I can't use some special functions while defishing is on like Pro-L or live composite.I like the softer edges as when I'm defishing in camera I'm not shooting for edge to edge sharpness but rather composition. It is also handy that the RAW isn't defished so you can work it later if you don't like how the jpg turned out.I haven't tried it for video. #5 Which one do you use the most? I use them about equally much, the 7-14 when rectilinearity is more critical, for example architecture. For nature and night shots, I often opt for the 8mm. Hope you'll get it, it's a joy to use it! RAH Mu-43 Hall of Famer #6 @memzinla , there are several threads on this forum about the 8mm FE lens. I talked about my experience with it starting here: do not know about video

Cause more extreme z-fighting, so be on the lookout for that. Cycles can now render point clouds! This is extremely exciting since it allows you to render particles directly and efficiently without having to instance spheres. A new Point Info node in the shader editor lets you get data about each point, such as their size, to use in your shaders. The downside is that it only works with particles imported from other software for some reason, and with points generated with Geometry Nodes.Mandelbulb3D fractal by Michael A ProstkaA new Fisheye Lens Polynomial lens type was added to the panoramic camera options, which helps to better simulate certain real world lenses. On the baking side of things, the margin is now calculated using the distance from the UV’s adjacent faces, which is great for making sure that the bake for one island doesn’t overlap another island. Similar to the one for Geometry Nodes, the Map Range node in the shader editor can now work with vectors. Video Editing and CompositingThe Video Sequence Editor, as well as its preview area, now supports dragging and dropping from the Outliner and Asset Browser. You can also now copy and paste strips that have animations from one scene to another. Video proxies (smaller, compressed versions that can be played back faster) are now automatically built for you when working on videos that would otherwise be slow to skim through. The Compositor also got some love, with a new Convert Color Space node to swap between two different color spaces, and a Scene Time node that outputs the current time in seconds or frames. Assets and ExportingThe Image Editor’s performance has been drastically improved, and it can now handle really freaking big (technical term for anything over 8k) images while remaining buttery smooth to navigate. The Asset Browser now supports node groups! Time to finally save my custom procedural textures where I can actually find them for later.Exporting to Alembic, one of the file formats that supports animation, now lets you include animated vertex colors. The Mesh Sequence Cache modifier, which can read Alembic files, has a new Override Layers section for using another Alembic file with matching attributes to override parts of the original. The OBJ file exporter was re-written from scratch in C++ rather than in Python and now runs about 10 times faster. That’s amazing! The relatively new USD file format, which will hopefully become the universal 3D file standard at some point instead of FBX, now converts simple Principled shader setups into USD compatible materials, with textures included. To be honest, I’ve never used the glTF file format, but I always see it get a big list of updates every release. In Blender 3.1, the exporter manages animation data much better and the importer is a bit more user friendly. That's all for this release! Which new feature are you most excited about?.
