I prefer handhelds in general, and the Switch Lite, to me, really turns the Switch into a handheld system in a way the normal Switch isn't. It's still larger than any previous handheld I owned (and probably heavier) but the experience when using it feels much closer to previous handheld systems to me than it did using the normal Switch in handheld mode.Preferably, you could try it out first, but I don't suppose anyone in your social circle owns one that you could try out before you put the money down for it? Though honestly, from what you describe, I doubt that you'd regret the purchase. #45 How are those? The Hori pads I mean. Are they bulky or? They absolutely make the Switch bulkier (about as wide as a Steam Deck), but they make up for it in ergonomics and long-term usability/comfort. You lose gyro, rumble, IR, etc., but I don't care about those things (and if I absolutely need them for a game, I can pop my Joy-Cons on for a bit or play on my TV w/ a Pro Controller). Hori recently released compact versions, which I'm tempted to try, but my standard split pads have served me well for years, so I'm not in a hurry to do so. :) #46 What do you find uncomfortable on standard Switch compared to Lite exactly, OP?I've been never been a fan of Switch hanheld and Joy Cons overall to say the least, but trying a brand new Switch Lite (Pokémon Sw/Sh edition it was a huge let down and felt worse in every way - except the lighter weight, obviously.Analog sticks kinda felt noticeably cheap and wobblier, to the point I couldn't click them without moving them while they were always fine on my Joy Cons.Their range is also weird, like in some games like Pokémon Let's Go/Arceus and probably many others, you have to brutally push it to any direction for it to register, especially in diagonals and when changing directions. It's awful and doesn't seem to only be from my console being faulty or such.And man, that D-pad. It looks better at first cause it's a real D-pad, but it's awful as well when you try to do proper diagonals.For real, Nintendo doesn't seem to know how to do a good D-pad anymore, but this one's much worse than the Pro Controller imo.The screen is too small for many games imo (especially the latest Pokémon games) and it's not the best LCD screen, colors don't pop as
