It's also bad, much like it's predecessor, in a very B-movie kind of way. Your enjoyment will probably depend on whether you like B-movie things. If you've played Risen, you've got a general idea of the quality of this game already. Your journey through Antaloor will take around 50-60 hours. About half of that time will be spent on the base game story, and half on the rest of the content. This game has coop and competitive MP modes, and achievements are tied to each. It's also got 2 DLC packs, one with story content, and the other with 4 more coop maps you need to do. It's worth noting this game has a Velvet edition, which includes both DLC packs. While not quite as useful now that they've dropped the absolutely ridiculous price of the DLCs, it'll still save you some money, though it seems to be fairly rare.In the interest of full disclosure, this is not a full walkthrough of the game. The maps don't show everything, I don't mention every quest, etc. This walkthrough is concerned with getting in, getting the achievements quickly, and getting out. Quests that give shitty rewards or take too much effort are avoided as a result, and chest loot is typically just broken down for materials, which you'll find yourself drowning in for most of the game. Which is to say, not getting every chest isn't a big deal. Anyway, our path to 100% looks like this...1. Play the single player story. We'll pick up most of the achievements here, including all of the base game missables. There's only 2 true missables, with 2-3 more if you decide to kill the wrong people. More on that on page 2 with the rest of the tips and such.2. Pirates of the Flying Fortress DLC. One missable, and we have to do some side quests, but this DLC pack is pretty straight forward.3. Dive into the coop mode, now that we know the game fairly well. There's a bunch of coop maps to do, which are basically just dungeons. We will do the 4 coop maps after the main game maps. While it's intended to be done coop, it can be done solo. In truth, it might be best done solo. It seems enemies are given more health/defense when more players are added, and I almost feel like it takes longer as a result. You get the achievements either way, so do what you prefer.4.
