Unlike most Star Wars video game characters, Cal Kestis – the main protagonist of the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game, is a canon character. His upbringing and journey to becoming a Jedi Knight were unique, and he’s one of only a handful to become a Jedi Knight before the age of 20. But how old was he during Order 66, when that journey took a perilous turn?Cal Kestis was only 13 years old when Order 66 took place, and almost the entire Jedi Order was killed by the clones. Cal was only a Padawan, and his Master died in his arms after saving his life. The events of the Fallen Order video game happened five years later when Kestis was around 18 years old.The story of Cal Kestis is brutally painful but also fulfilling and incredibly well-written. Throughout his journey, you’d think that all the trauma would lead to Kestis succumbing to the Dark Side, but instead, he was a key cog in reviving the Jedi Order. That being said, the game is more about letting go and moving on than anything else. Let’s dig into this premise a bit more.Who is Cal Kestis?Cal Kestis is the main protagonist and the only playable character in the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game. Although almost every Star Wars video game in their characters belongs to Star Wars Legends (i.e., non-canon), Fallen Order and Cal Kestis are both considered canonical, in line with Star Wars movies, TV shows, and most books.Kestis was a young Jedi Padawan of Jedi Master Jaro Tapal – the only known member of the Lasat species ever to be trained as a Jedi. Tapal was a Jedi General during the Clone Wars that served the Galactic Republic. However, Jaro perished before his Padawan, Cal, could finish his. JK XR - Jedi Knight in VR for Meta Quest. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II One of the older games on this list, Dark Forces II was received very well by both critics and fans when it released in 1997. The game became an instant favorite to many, and while looking back on it now does reveal some flaws, the game is still fun to playthrough – especially once you get your hands on a lightsaber. The game is – for the most part – a first-person shooter, though a lightsaber and force abilities are usable as you progress through the game. It’s this variation in combat that makes the game so darn fun. 5 5. Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast Yet another game in the Jedi Knight series, Jedi Outcast shares a lot of similarities with Dark Forces. The game has a solid plot as it follows series protagonist Kyle Katarn facing off against a Dark Jedi, and features some much improved combat. The focus on lightsaber combat in this entry really made for some unique and interesting gameplay. Though not the most intricate combat system a Star Wars game has to offer, Jedi Outcast still managed to be an engaging title that at the time, did a lot of things right. 4 4. Aayla Secura was a Rutian Twi'lek who was born on the planet Ryloth during the Republic Era.[1] Secura came from the disreputable side of her homeworld, until she was rescued by Jedi Knight Quinlan Vos who brought the Force-sensitive youngling to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Vos personally saw to Secura's training in the Jedi Order, taking her as his Padawan.[1] Secura was close with her mentor during their time together[8] and under Vos' guidance, she ascended to the rank of Jedi Knight.[1] She was also an associate of Kit Fisto and Tholme,[11] who had trained Vos.[12]At some point, Secura's uncle was murdered. In rage, Secura nearly fell to the dark side of the Force by launching a hunt for the man who killed her uncle. The guidance of Jedi Master Yoda and her own courage, however,[13] led her back to the light side of the Force.[14] Secura once encountered an Anzati who was dressed in robes[15] that resembled those of a Jedi or Sith.[16] The Anzati took hold of her head and neck,[15] but she survived.[16]Clone Wars[]Battle of Geonosis[] Secura during the Battle of Geonosis Secura was on Coruscant during the last days of the Separatist Crisis. Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi walked past her as he made his way to a class of Jedi younglings, intending to confer with their instructor, Grand Master Yoda, about his investigation into the plot to assassinate Senator Padmé Amidala. Following Kenobi's discovery of the Separatist Droid Army on Geonosis, Jedi Master Mace Windu assembled a strike team of all available Jedi, including Secura. The Jedi infiltrated the Petranaki Arena during the attempted execution of Kenobi as well as his apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, and Senator Amidala.[3]Igniting her blue-bladed lightsaber, Secura and her fellow Jedi fought against waves of battle droids in the Geonosian arena. Though the Jedi succeeded in destroying many droids, with Secura dispatching a B2-series super battle droid, theJedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast VR Quest 3 - YouTube
The former apprentice of Jedi Master Orgus Din, for use during the military crisis that had arisen when the Sith Lord Darth Angral declared war on the Republic using stolen superweapons in order to avenge the death of his son, Tarnis, at the hands of that Jedi Knight. The Knight and the astromech droid T7-O1, accompanied by the Jedi's new Padawan, Kira Carsen, utilized the vessel to travel the galaxy and foil Angral's plans,[4] and the trio continued to use the ship as the Galactic War broke out with the Sith Empire—by which time the Knight was known as the Hero of Tython.[8] Floor plan of a Defender-class corvette's flight deck Around the same time, Jedi Master Syo Bakarn requested another Defender-class, which he gave to a Jedi Consular, the former student of Master Yuon Par, so that the Consular could investigate the recent string of Force-induced plagues of madness that had been afflicting Jedi Masters across the galaxy.[9] After the resolution of that crisis, the Consular was made a Jedi Master and given the title of Barsen'thor, or Warden of the Order.[10] A Jedi Master piloted a Defender-class corvette while leading a Republic border patrol during the Cold War, but the patrol was lured to the remote Mugaar system and destroyed there.[11]The Barsen'thor's vessel later became the host of the head representatives of the Rift Alliance, a splinter government that Supreme Chancellor Dorian Janarus was attempting to convince to rejoin the Republic. The Barsen'thor played host to the Rift Alliance's representatives while aiding their planets as the war with the Empire began anew,[12] and later utilized it during a hunt for the mysterious agents of the Sith Emperor known as the Children of the Emperor.[13] At the same time, the Hero of Tython and crew utilized their Defender-class corvette on their mission to capture the Emperor,[14] though the group's mission later changed to preventing the Emperor's agents from beginning a dark side ritual that would consume all life in the galaxy.[15]Legacy[] A Defender-class light corvette in flight The Jedi Padawan Jaesa Willsaam flew a model of corvette similar to.
