DDR4-5133 is extremely ambitious. Even though the XMP profile has that stored, and they have tested it at MSI with their specific CPU, it doesn't mean it will work in all setups. Anything above DDR4-4000 is already pushing the limits of DDR4 technology. Then you have the BIOS and the optimizations in there. So you definitely want to update to the newest version for your best chance. But the Z690 boards are still "banana-ware", they have yet to ripen and mature.
