Gradient Map. The Gradient Map effect maps the colors of your video to the colors of a gradient that you specify. Black is mapped to one endpoint of the gradient, white is mapped to the other end of the gradient, and midtones are mapped according to the intermediate control points you establish in the gradient.

You can change general and other preferences in MapForce by selecting the Tools | Options command. The available options are described below.In the General section, you can define the following options:•Show logo | Show on start: Shows or hides an image (splash screen) when MapForce starts.•The Mapping view section allows you to set the following parameters: oYou can enable/disable the gradient background in the Mapping pane (Show gradient background). oYou can limit the display of annotations to N lines (Limit annotation display). For example, if you have set this option to 2, and your annotation text contains 3 lines, only the first two lines of the annotation text will be displayed in the mapping. This setting also applies to SELECT statements visible in a component. oYou can also limit the display of a component's comment to N lines (Limit comment display). For example, if you have limited the comment display to 1 line, and you comment contains more than one line, the comment box will display only the first line. Setting the property to 0 will suppress the display of component comments completely. Note that the Limit comment display option has no effect on comment components.•Default encoding for new components. Encoding name: The default encoding for new XML files can be set by selecting an option from the dropdown list. If a two- or four-byte encoding is selected as the default encoding (i.e. UTF-16, UCS-2, or UCS-4), you can also choose between little-endian and big-endian byte-ordering. This setting can also be changed individually for each component (see Change Component Settings). Byte order: When a document with two-byte or four-byte character encoding is saved, the document can be saved either with little-endian or big-endian byte-ordering. It allows you to set the orientation and then adjust the top of the image separately from the bottom.Of the more unique filters, one of the more useful ones for me in my landscape work is the Adjustable Gradient. The reference height can be the minimum height, or the rail point, or the stringer height, or the apex height, or Z=0. On the example above, the step is set to 0.2 cm, and we can see 2 stripes on the bottom, which shows that the depth of the concave is about 0.4 cm at the center of the board. Display the curvature (radial and/or longitudinal) with colors (Pro option needed). Radial Longitudinal The highly convex areas will be displayed in green and yellow, and the highly concave areas will be displayed in pink and red. The blue areas are almost flat. The relative curvature radius R can be adjusted to show the curvature (C = 1/R) changes more effectively. The 3D Properties Box The "3D Properties" window allows changing the colors, the decoration, and the definition of the 3D drawing. The 3D mode allows mapping images on the board. The mapping on the deck can stop at the apex, or the rail, or at a defined distance from the apex. The mapping can be duplicated on the bottom, or another image can be mapped on the bottom. This gives a very realistic idea of how your board will look like at the end. You can add Color Bands to the board. The color bands can be straight bands or bands that follow the outline of the board, like a pin line. It can also contain color gradient. You can add multiple Logo images. 2025-04-07Semantic information, this paper design a cross-coupled semantic learning branch for each modality. By sharing the parameters of the forward mapping and the inverse mapping (coupled branch), the discriminative information of different modalities is exchanged with each other, thus eliminating the cross-modal discrepancy and alleviating the redundancy. Third, by minimizing the loss functions in cross-coupled semantic architecture, the instances with the same semantics are pushed to be compact in the common subspace, thus improving the retrieval accuracy. Extensive experiments indicate that our approach is effective and outperforms the baseline approaches in three widely-used databases.With the sharp increase of imperfect multimedia data, such as noise samples and unpaired samples, we consider employing the reinforcement learning strategy in the future to reduce the impact of these problems on cross-modal retrieval. Given the introduction of noisy and missing data, issues such as non-convergence or gradient disappearance in the training of adversarial mechanisms will also be optimized in the next work. Moreover, the time cost of the cross-modal retrieval is also planned to be optimized by utilizing the hash mapping model in further work.
