Glohm GoombaFirst appearanceMario & Luigi: Brothership (2024)Variant ofGoombaGlohm Goombas are enemies in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. They are Goombas that have been infected with Glohm, and can be found on Offandon Island and Wayaway Island. They look the same as normal Goombas, except with glowing eyes and shadowy Glohm effects.Battle[edit]In battle, Glohm Goomba fight the same way as their standard counterparts, except with higher stats. However, they have the ability to create clones of themselves, and then shuffle them around every turn. These clones will be replaced after every turn, and do not need to be defeated to finish the battle, since defeating the real Glohm Goomba will destroy all remaining clones and end the battle.Names in other languages[edit]LanguageNameMeaningNotesJapaneseゼツエンクリボー[?]Zetsuen KuribōGlohm GoombaChinese绝缘栗宝宝[?]Juéyuán Lì BǎobaoGlohm GoombaDutchDoem-Goomba[?]Glohm GoombaItalianGoomba isolantium[1]Goomba glohmPortugueseGoomba Sohmbra[2]Glohm GoombaSpanishGoomba inconexo[?]Glohm GoombaReferences[edit]^ Mario & Luigi: Fraternauti alla carica - LIVE #12. This guide will walk you through defeating the packs of Koopas and Goombas on Slippenglide Island in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. If you’ve attempted this fight and found it seemingly impossible, it’s likely because you’re relying too heavily on Bros moves to clear out large groups of enemies. You'll want to take a more patient approach, carefully chipping away at them with precision attacks.Step 1: Tackle the GoombasYou'll want to start by focusing on the Goombas. Instead of constantly spamming Bros' moves, use targeted attacks to weaken them over some time. I suggest using jump attacks as they're pretty effective; you can use hammer attacks if you wish to as well; try targeting the Goomba with the highest health. The goal is to reduce their health so they can all be taken out in a single Bros attack. Be aware of their counterattacks, but don't stress about landing counters yourself. You should wear defensive gear and equip plugs that prioritize defense. Now you can slowly deal low damage to each Goomba until they are brought down. When you’re ready, unleash a Bros move like Yoshi Egg to finish them all off at once.Step 2: Deal with the Para-KoopasAfter you're done defeating the Goombas, a group of Para-Koopas will appear. You’ll notice that most of them are flying.Focus on one Para-Koopa at a time, targeting and attacking until it’s grounded. Once they’re on the ground, their attacks are easier to dodge. Use the hammer to deflect their projectile attacks, if necessary, but avoid defeating too many at once. If you eliminate too many, reinforcements will arrive, undoing your progress.Keep chipping away at their health individually. Your strategy should be the same as with the Goombas: reduce each one’s health to a manageable level without finishing them off too early. This setup will allow you to take them all out simultaneously with another Bros move.Tips for SuccessDefense is key: Equip Mario and Luigi with the best defensive gear and plugs you have. Use items like Easy Peasy Counters to improve your ability to avoid damage.Manage your BP carefully: Use upgrades or gear that conserve

BP to ensure you have enough for critical Bros moves when needed.Healing items: Auto-healing mushrooms can be a lifesaver if you take unexpected damage during the fight.Avoid reinforcements: Keeping multiple Koopas alive but weak is essential. Eliminating them all at once prevents reinforcements from resetting your progress. The Final BlowOnce all the Para-Koopas are grounded and their health is low, unleash a final Bros move to finish them off. Enhance it with a Bro Boost, if available, to maximize damage. This move should clear the field and complete the battle. And that’s how you take down the packs of Goombas and Koopas on Slippenglide Island. With careful planning and execution, you’ll clear this challenging section and move forward with ease. LevelWorld 2-1Level code2-1WorldWorld 2GameSuper Mario Bros.Time limit400 secondsMusic track"Ground BGM"Music sample Directory of levels >>World 2-1 is the first level of World 2 in Super Mario Bros. and the fifth level overall in said game. The level has many gaps and enemies as well as a jumping board in front of a big wall at the end. In the new quest, players can perform the infinite 1-Up trick as the Buzzy Beetle descends down the staircase near the start of the level. In Super Paper Mario, the layout of this level was recreated in one section of Chapter 5-3.LayoutEditAt the start of the level, there are three bricks, the middle one containing a Magic Mushroom, or a Fire Flower if the player is Super Mario. Just after, there is a short brick platform with a Little Goomba walking down it. Then the platform goes into a small gap with two Koopa Troopas in it.After the gap, there are two more Little Goombas followed by a Piranha Plant in a Warp Pipe. Next, there are two rows of ?s. The one in the bottom row to the far left contains another Magic Mushroom or Fire Flower. There are also more Little Goombas and Koopas on the ground.Halfway through the level, there are more bricks, one containing a Starman on the top left, as well as another Piranha Plant inside of a Pipe.Next, there are even more rows of ?s and bricks. The ?s all contain coins. There is also another set of Little Goombas walking on the ground below the blocks. One of the blocks on the top row slightly to the left contains a Vine that Mario can climb to access Coin Heaven. The Secret area leads into the clouds where Mario can ride a platform moving to the right to collect a bunch of coins. After Mario exits the secret area, he ends up near the end of the level.Next, there are a few more groups of Little Goombas and a bunch more Piranha Plants in Pipes. The first Pipe leads to another secret area, this one leading underground, offering another bunch of coins for Mario to collect. Then, there is a short gap followed by a Koopa Paratroopa. Then there is another short gap with three vertical blocks that Mario must jump over. Then, there are some more ?s as well as bricks, mostly containing coins. There are also even more Little Goombas and Piranha Plants in Pipes.Lastly, there is another Koopa Paratroopa and a short gap. After the gap, there is a jumping board, followed by a big brick wall. The player must press the "A" button right when Mario is standing on the lowest point of the jumping board to make him jump super high, reaching over the brick wall and getting to the flagpole. Alternatively, there is a Hidden Block above two bricks. The player can use it to jump over the brick wall.Super Mario Bros. Deluxe challengesEditIn Super Mario Bros. Calling Count Bleck a "goon". He is a playable character for the first time in the series, and the last character to join Mario's party. His special move is the super jump, which has him fold up then launch into the air; he also has a somewhat higher regular jump and slightly lower traction than his brother. At the beginning of the game, Mario and Luigi head to Bowser's Castle once they learn Peach has been kidnapped again. Luigi is then sucked into a vortex along with Bowser and his minions by Count Bleck. Luigi then wakes up during Peach and Bowser's forced marriage and attempts to stop the wedding, but fails. He is then rendered unconscious until the end of Chapter 2, where a pair of Goombas witness his awakening. Luigi wishes to try and save the Princess again, but the Goombas convince him to help them escape. They head off but are stopped by a dead end. As they try to think of what to do next, Nastasia appears and hypnotizes one of the Goombas. Trapped by her and a group of Koopa Troop-turned-Bleck minions, the other Goomba simply surrenders to her and willingly joins Bleck's forces. Nastasia then orders the minions to hold Luigi in place as she brainwashes him. It is due to this that Luigi became Mr. L, also known as "The Green Thunder".Before Mario could get his hands on the fifth Pure Heart, Mr. L makes an appearance in the Whoa Zone, Mario and his team do not recognize that Mr. L is actually Luigi. Mr. L returns again as a boss during Chapter 6, after Sammer's Kingdom is destroyed. After being defeated, Dimentio betrays him and sends Mr. L to The Underwhere. He lost all memory of his having been Mr. L and returned to his normal state. Mario finds Luigi scared in The Underwhere (Chapter 7), and the two soon regrouped with the other playable characters (Bowser and Princess Peach) as well.Eventually, Luigi faced Dimentio in Castle Bleck alone, without a single Pixl by his side. After defeating Dimentio, Luigi gets knocked out by Dimentio's fake suicidal attack. Peach later finds and awakens him, and they and Bowser later rejoined Mario, and their combined strength allowed them to defeat Count Bleck. However, Dimentio then snatched the Chaos Heart from him and activated a mind-controlling Floro Sprout he had planted on Luigi much earlier,
