Apparent, I slowly realised that it was now taking an inordinate amount of time to boot up (a gradual realisation because a reboot is something I rarely do, I usually just hibernate the PC). I installed the Windows Performance Toolkit and analysed the results. While I'm no expert on WPT diagnosis like @zinou it was obvious even to me that the Session Manager Subsystem initialisation was taking far too long, measured in minutes rather than seconds as it should be. What was holding it up was far from obvious.More by luck than judgement I found that uninstalling Adrenalin and all its drivers restored normal booting. Reinstalling 23.11.1 slowed it down again. By a process of elimination I found that the newest version I could now install was Adrenalin Edition 23.7.1 from 26 June 2023. 2025-04-12With Chrome and FF)I’ve been using Comodo IceDragon for about 6 months now after the online game supportsuggested me to use CID (Comodo Ice Dragon) to switch from Google Chrome to FF (Firefox) cozForge of Empires (online game) wouldn’t load even after installing standalone flash playerand it took too much memory as seen from the Task ManagerWhen i switched to FF, it was the same thing again.and process name - plugin-container.exe*32 taking too much memorytaking too much memory in tab in It worked fine in reasonable memory conditions with CID 52.0.0.04When I updated to the latest version from 52.0.0.04 to 57.0.4.44and started to game, my whole system got slower and slower.so i checked the Task manager (I’m using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit)1/ so many duplicates of Icedragon.exe*32 as seen in Chrome and FF2/ FlashPlayerPlugin_28_0_0_161.exe*32 taking twice the amount of memory used in previous versions3/ 2 duplicates of FlashPlayerPlugin_28_0_0_161.exe*32 working installed back the older version 52.0.0.04 and works fine reasonably. the newer versions seems to have some issue.
