Of "ur" instead of the gramatically correct "your" ... you replaced the orignal word with a phonetic equivalent.Phonetic would be like this:translation - translayshunphonetic - foenetikcorrect - korektword - werdreplaced - replaysedithu - ithoo-tg yeah... thats not translation, its replacement. its the same sound as it sounds in english. exactly like ur examples, except using tamil fonts. Is that correct?In which case I think you've got a couple of possible approaches.1. Use a dictionary as a single operation. Any given word in English has one or more phonetic representations in Tamil script. So it would be possible to create a dirty great dictionary containing all the English words and their equivalents in Tamil script.2. Break it into two operations. Have a dirty great big dictionary to translate the English word into a Western Alphabet representation of the Tamil word (e.g. book => putakka) and then have a second process that converts that representation into Tamil characters.What you described in post 6 would allow you to achieve the second half of option 2 but I think you'd probably still be looking at a dirty great dictionary - there are ALOT of potential phonetic sounds. And both will require a dirty great dictionary to translate the languages.I'm bound to say that this isn't a good choice of beginner project. The only ways I can see
