March 22, 2012, 12:11pm 1 Hello,I have 2 windows 7 machines that are not showing host records in DNS on the server. I have 5 DC that are running windows server 2003 r2 and 4 DC running windows server 2008 r2. I have about 100 computers in my domain, 90 of those are xp pro and about 10 are windows 7 pro. 8 out of 10 of the windows 7 machines are showing dns records but 2 of them are not showing up. I noticed in AD when I open the computer account, under the general tab in the DNS NAME: it shows just the computer name, it does not have my full dns name. I added both of these computer back to the domain and renamed both of them and they both are still not showing up.
