John 10:33 In John 10:33, the Jews wanted to kill Jesus with stones because He claimed to BE GOD. However, the NCV says Jesus only made Himself the same as God... "They answered, 'We are not killing you because of any good work you did, but because you speak against God. You are only a human, but you say you are the same as God!' " (KJV) "The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God." (NCV) The NCV says that Jesus made Himself “the same as God.” That's not what the Bible says. The KJV says that Jesus made Himself God... “makest thyself God ” Being the same as God is not the same as being God. The Godhead became incarnate, in the flesh of the Lord Jesus Christ. To no surprise, the NCV also completely removes the word “Godhead” from Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20 and Colossians 2:9. The KJV mentions the Godhead in these Scriptures. Many critics of the Bible bring attention to the fact that the word “Trinity” is not found in the Bible. However, the word “Godhead” is certainly mentioned. This is why it is so deceitful and dangerous when modern corrupt Bibles remove this vitally important word. This is Satan at work, attacking the Bible today just as he has throughout history to destroy people's lives. Jesus commanded in John 5:39 for us to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES!!! How can you search the Scriptures if you have a corrupted Bible? You can't. Modern corrupt Bibles have produced a whole generation of corrupt theologians. Jesus said that a corrupt tree would bring forth corrupt fruit (Matthew 7:17). As mentioned earlier, God was upset in Jeremiah 23:32 because false prophets were making light of the Words of the Lord. God doesn't change (Malachi 3:6). God is just as upset today with false prophets, as He was 2,500 years ago during the time of Jeremiah. (KJV) The NCV is dangerous, corrupt and the work of the Devil. Romans 4:5 The NCV horribly butchers Roman 4:5, showing the self-righteousness of the translators... "But people cannot do any work that will make them right with God. So they must trust in him, who makes even evil people right in his sight. Then God accepts their faith, and that makes them right with him." (NCV) "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." (KJV) The King James Bible says that Jesus justifies the UNGODLY (the “ungodly” meaning all of us); but the New Century Version perverts the Scriptures to say that faith makes “even evil people” right with God. May I say, we are all evil people. Romans 3:10-23 indicts humanity. Romans 4:5 speaks of ALL humanity as being “the ungodly.” Calvinism, Lordship Salvation and the heresy that salvation can be lost are all based in self-righteousness, and that is evil. The King James Version plainly teaches the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ, which the translators of the New Century Version totally leave out. Romans 4:5 in the KJV teaches that a man's faith is COUNTED for righteousness, meaning that NO self-righteousness is required, and a good thing, because we have none to offer God (Isaiah 64:6). When Satan came to Eve (as the serpent) in the Garden of Eden, he attacked God's Word (Genesis 3:1). Even when Satan came to tempt the Lord Jesus, he attacked the Words of God (Matthew 4:1-10). We read in the Old Testament that Satan sent false prophets to destroy Israel, who perverted the Words of God to deceive the people... Jeremiah 23:31-32, “Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.” It's very interesting that the Hebrew word for lightness in Jeremiah 23:32 is “pachazuwth” and means “frivolity.” The false prophets of Jeremiah's time were taking God's Word frivolously (of little value or significance). We see this everywhere we turn in today's churches. It's almost impossible to find a decent church to attend. It's enough to make a God-fearing Christian want to go vomit. God feels the same way (Revelation 3:16). Hardly any ministers make a fuss anymore over which Bible is God's Word, or over which doctrines are Biblically correct, or over false Gospel's which have crept into churches today (particularly the heresy of Lordship Salvation). Today's lame pastors, evangelists and so-called Christian authors have taken apostasy to a whole new level of frivolity. Making money has become priority one. The people who are errantly translating today's Bibles are woefully IGNORANT of the Scriptures. Romans 10:9 Just like the hellish New International Version (NIV) of the Bible, the NCV corrupts the plan of salvation in Romans 10:9... "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved." (NCV) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (KJV) The KJV simply says to “confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus.” This is drastically different from what the NIV and the NCV say. The NIV and NCV require a lost sinner to verbally declare “Jesus is Lord” to be saved. This has led to a false doctrine in today's religious seminaries and apostate churches commonly referred to as Lordship Salvation. Lordship Salvation teaches that a lost sinner is obligated to cease from living a life of sin as part of saving-faith. The sinner is required to clean up their life, or promise to clean up their life, in order to be saved. This makes salvation extremely hard and complicates “the simplicity that is in Christ” (2nd Corinthians 11:3). In SHARP contrast, the Word of God teaches that eternal life is the free gift of God, and without works of self-righteousness. Jesus paid our sin debt to make things right, because we couldn't make things right. That's the whole reason why Jesus came. Matthew 6:33 The NCV also butchers Matthew 6:33... "Seek first God's kingdom and what God wants. Then all your other needs will be met as well." (KJV) "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (NCV) The KJV tells us to seek CHRIST'S RIGHTEOUSNESS first, which is salvation. The NCV completely obliterates this truth. The NCV says to do “what God wants”; but the KJV tells us what God wants... for us to seek CHRIST'S RIGHTEOUSNESS, which is by faith alone in Christ.
