Teeth, but in Live Free or Die Hard, he repeatedly survives things that should've left him a mangled corpse. A Good Day to Die Hard went back to an R-rating, but sadly, that couldn't help save it. Between an awful script, Jai Courtney giving a flat performance as John McClane's son, and Willis himself seeming to sleepwalk through the proceedings, the movie fell flat. This is part of why anticipation isn't exactly high for Die Hard 6 or new Die Hard spinoffs, if any. Die Hard Wouldn't Work Without Bruce Willis As Paradise City will be Bruce Willis' last movie due to his struggle with aphasia, audiences can no longer expect the actor to be featured in Die Hard 6, and the fact is that the franchise simply does not work without Willis. Aphasia deteriorates language cognition, which is why Willis has chosen to retire after Paradise City. Without John McClane, any new Die Hard project will be lacking its most crucial element. Bruce Willis' John McClane is Die Hard. While the cast, script, and production all came together to create arguably the greatest American action movie ever, Willis is the singular, central figure that enabled the film's phenomenal success. It's impossible to recast John McClane, and a new Die Hard without John wouldn't feel like a real franchise installment. Willis made the franchise, and Die Hard 6 can't just replace him, leaving the franchise dead in the water. There's currently no reason for Hollywood to pursue a Die Hard sequel. The Die Hard Franchise Should Be Retired Even if Bruce Willis wasn't retiring from acting and making the decision not to pursue Die Hard 6 himself, Hollywood itself should just let the franchise be. In this age of studios desperately trying to extract every bit of cash they can get from their existing intellectual property, it's not surprising that Fox/Disney want to make another Die Hard. They've certainly tried pretty hard to get a prequel or another sequel in motion in the last few years, and to be fair, any new Die Hard project - even if it's not Die Hard 6 - is bound to make it big in the box office. Yet, to paraphrase Jurassic Park's Ian Malcolm, Fox seems so preoccupied with whether it can make a Die Hard 6 happen that they're not stopping to consider if they should. The evidence is readily available as to why they shouldn't. Live Free or Die Hard was a clear step or two below the first three, and A Good Day to Die Hard's quality full-on jumped off a cliff. If the last movies did well, then maybe it's conceivable for the franchise to somehow replace Willis with 2006 movie Bobby. In 1987, Moore attended the premiere of the action film Stakeout, starring her then-fiancé Estevez — though, at the time, their engagement was postponed. Moore wrote in her memoir that the premiere was a “highly consequential night” in her life — as it was where she met Willis. Within a few weeks of meeting, Moore and Willis began officially dating while he was filming Die Hard — his costar Bonnie Bedelia has since joked to PEOPLE that Willis' new relationship with Moore made him “distracted” on set. Four months later, on Nov. 21, 1987, Moore and Willis married in Las Vegas on a whim, according to her memoir. “We were moving to the gambling tables when Bruce said, ‘I think we should get married.’ We'd been joking about it on the flight there, but suddenly it didn't seem like he was kidding,” she wrote. A month later, the couple had a second ceremony with family and friends, which was officiated by Little Richard. From the Oscar nominee's breakout role in General Hospital in 1982 to her new movie The Substance, Moore has been in the public eye for decades. Her three marriages — including to Bruce Willis, with whom she shares three daughters, and Ashton Kutcher — and her shorter-lived romances have been the subject of public attention. However, in recent years, Moore has said she’s no longer interested in dating. Her last public relationship ended in 2022, and in an interview with The Guardian in September 2024, Moore revealed that dating has not been her "focus" in recent years. Moore added that she has realized she doesn’t need a relationship to complete her. “It’s not about not being interested in dating,” she said. “It’s more about realizing that I’m now in a place that’s much more about choice as opposed to feeling that there’s any kind of lack.” From her first marriage at age 18 to building a family with Bruce Willis, here’s a look back at Demi Moore’s dating history. Wire room and seeing all the danger that was unfolding on the surveillance monitors. In a couple of interviews, Kevin Dillion talks about his role and speaks highly about working with Bruce Willis and their second time in an action movie together. He thought the script was really good and was also excited to work with the acting legend. Kevin Dillon talked about how he probably worked at least four days. However, he was already prepared by memorizing a lot of lines since the director and the crew must film each action part as well.‘Wire Room’ did not have a big budget, to begin with like any other film that involved Bruce Willis. Even Kevin Dillion does a good job of performing his own status in the fight scenes. He also explains the process of doing his own stunts and how to make them look convincing. The film should not be compared to all the other past Bruce Willis films, it should stand out as an original work with a modest budget. It will have audiences at the edge of their seats since there is never a dull moment in the story. The movie is now in selected theaters, digital, and On Demand.Directed by Matt Eskandari.Written by Brandon StieferProduced by Randall Emmet, George Furla, , Oliver Trevena, Norton Herrick, Caesar Richbow, Mark Stewart, and Noel Ashman.Cinematography by Will BarrattEdited by Chris PattersonBy Marco CastanedaClick here to read The Hollywood Insider’s CEO Pritan Ambroase’s love letter to Cinema, TV and Media..
