I have 2 pcs with Avast anti-virus (free) installed. Today (20 May 2017) Avast failed to update its virus definitions on both pcs.After the auto update failed I tried a manual update of the definitions. It came back with “unknown error”. Existing definitions on my desktop are 18-8, it will not update to the latest, which I think is dated 19 May 2017.
