In the virtual memory at the time of the crash. You can then use files to further examine what files were open at the time of the crash. Run the log command to see any logs again; this prompt shows the same contents as vmcore-dmesg.txt. With the information from the ps, vm, files and log commands, you can figure out what caused the Linux kernel panic with the kdump crash dump tool. The NFS server lets you upload crash dump files to a server independent of the affected server. Both vmcore-dmesg.txt and vmcore files can provide a glimpse of what was going on in the system when the crash occurred. He also posted a side-by-side video (below) of the engineering analysis and the crash test itself.Engineered Crash SafetyThere’s a lot of engineering precision at play when a Cybertruck is involved in a crash. Unlike traditional crash structures that rely on crash cans and collapse points, the Cybertruck’s front gigacasting is designed to absorb and redirect impact forces in a highly controlled manner. It all starts with the bumper beam, which crushes within the first few milliseconds of a high-speed impact. At the same time, the vehicle’s sensors rapidly analyze the crash dynamics and determine the optimal deployment of safety restraints, including airbags and seat belt pre-tensioners. These split-second actions are crucial in keeping occupants safe.As the crash progresses, the vehicle’s structure deforms in a carefully engineered sequence. The drive unit cradle bends, directing the solid drive unit downward and out of the way, allowing the gigacasting to begin absorbing impact forces. The casting crushes cell by cell, methodically dissipating energy in a controlled manner. This gradual deceleration reduces the g-forces transferred to occupants, making the crash much less severe. As the gigacast begins crushing, the safety restraints are deployed. As Wes points out in his post - you can see how accurate the virtual analysis and modeling were. The video shows the simulated crash side by side with the real-life crash test and they’re almost identical. All that virtual testing helps provide feedback into the loop to design a better and safer system - one that is uniquely different than any other vehicle on the road. All the armchair experts claimed the Cybertruck has no crumple zone and I get it, the proportions seem impossible. It was a tough one and there is a lot of engineering that went into it. Many automakers are now following suit, as this approach allows the crash structure to be integrated directly into the casting. This makes the castings not only safer but also easier to manufacture in a single step, reducing costs and improving repairability. How to Change Virtual Memory Size on Windows 10: Guia passo a passo. How to increase virtual memory using Settings (GUI)How to increase virtual memory using Windows PowerShellSystem-managed page filesPor padrão, page files are system-managed. This means that the page files increase and decrease based on many factors, such as the amount of physical memory installed, the process of accommodating the system commit charge, and the process of accommodating a system crash dump.Por exemplo, when the system commits charge is more than 90 percent of the system commit limit, the page file is increased to back it. This continues to occur until the page file reaches three times the size of physical memory or 4 GB, whichever is larger. This all assumes that the logical disk that is hosting the page file is large enough to accommodate the growth. The following table lists the minimum and maximum page file sizes of system-managed page files in Windows 10.Minimum page file sizeMaximum page file sizeVaries based on page file usage history, amount of BATER (BATER ÷ 8, max 32 GB) and crash dump settings.3 × BATER ou 4 GB, whichever is larger. This is then limited to the volume size ÷ 8. No entanto, it can grow to within 1 GB of free space on the volume if required for crash dump settings. How to increase virtual memory using Settings (GUI)To adjust the virtual memory size on Windows 10, use these steps:1. Abrir Configurações;2. Navegue até System\About;3. Under the “Related settings” section, Clique no System info;4. Clique no Advanced system settings option from the left pane;5. Clique no Avançado aba.6. Under the “Performance” section, clique Configurações;7. Clique no Avançado aba;8. Under the “Virtual memory” section, Clique no Mudar;9. Clear the Automatically manage paging files size for all drives opção.10. Selecione o Custom size opção.11. Specify the initial and maximum size for the paging file in megabytes.OBSERVAÇÃO: The size of the virtual memory is unique to each device, and it can’t be generalized. No entanto, usually, it’s recommended to use a number that’s one and a half times the total available memory for the “Initial size” and three times of available memory for the “Maximum size” when possible.12. Clique no Definir botão.13. Clique no OK botão.14. Clique no OK button again.15. Restart your device. If you need to revert the changes, you can use the same instructions, but on step 9, make sure to check the AutomaticallyVirtual CRASH User's Guides Virtual CRASH
General Troubleshooting Problem Reporting Tool The Problem Reporting Tool (PRT) is a small program that automatically runs if Cisco Jabber encounters an unrecoverable error, unhandled exception, or crash. The tool collects logs from the thin client and hosted virtual desktop and then creates a problem report. The report is a zip file that you can send to the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC), to provide the necessary information to solve the problem. The tool saves the file to the user's desktop. Users must accept the privacy agreement to run the PRT. Tip Advise users to include a memory dump with the problem report if Cisco Jabber crashes. We also recommend that users provide a description of the circumstances that lead up to the error. If a user experiences an error that does not crash the software, the user can run the PRT from the Cisco Jabber menu: . If Cisco Jabber is not running, users can generate a problem report from the Windows Start menu . To access the tool from outside the application, choose . Important Problem reports include logs from the thin client, the hosted virtual desktop, and any detailed information that users enter. You can use this information to help troubleshoot the issue. If there is a problem with the virtual channel, or if Cisco Jabber is not running, the problem report does not include logs from the thin client. For more information, see Virtual Channel Problem. Virtual Channel Problem If a problem exists with the virtual channel, the problem-reporting tool cannot collect the logs from the thin client. A problem with the virtual channel can cause the Device Selector to not start or to not populate with devices. Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) personnel may ask you to gather the logs manually by running one of. Appreciate experiencing the acceleration surge when you depress the pedal. But if you use your Tesla for routine activities like grocery shopping or being stuck in traffic on the way to and from work, it might not be the best bang for your buck. However, if you initially had your eye on the Performance model and ultimately decided on the Long Range version, Acceleration Boost is a great way to get closer to the performance of the higher-end trim. A Look at the Tesla Cybertruck’s Crumple Zones [VIDEO] March 14, 2025 By Karan Singh Tesla’s Cybertruck has officially earned a 5-Star Safety Rating from the NHTSA—an impressive achievement given the vehicle’s design. The achievement demonstrates Tesla’s engineering prowess. As one engineer points out, it wasn’t an easy feat.Interestingly, the NHTSA only recently disclosed the results, despite the crash tests being completed a while ago. According to Lars Moravy, Tesla’s VP of Vehicle Engineering, the team had been aware of the 5-star rating for quite some time. While the reason for the delay remains unclear, now that the results are public, Tesla’s engineers can finally share how they achieved the rating.Crumple ZonesWes Morril, the Cybertruck’s Lead Engineer, wrote about the crash test video on X recently, addressing the claims that the Cybertruck doesn’t have a crumple zone.
