Composer XE 2011 is the marketing name for the Intel 12.0 compilers. The marketing people don't seem to understand the extra confusion created by the new names for groups of tools not including Fortran. Here's the official translation page (overview tab)between last year's and this year's product names. In each case, buying a license under either this year's or last year's name gives you access to current and older versions to download.The windows/linux/mac tabs show you which bits are included in each product.So, if you wanted last year's Compiler Suite Professional Edition (both C++ and Fortran included), this year's name would be simply Composer XE, or so it says here. Even your vendor may be confused, but ought to let you trade up, if you can specify whether you want Fortran alone or the combination of C++ and Fortran.The C++ Studio bundles of C++ with additional performance tools, but no Fortran. The Studio products which include Fortran would be Cluster Studio (includes MPI and MPI trace analyzer) and Parallel Studio (includes VTune and Inspector, and the display means for SSA).The page is misleading in showing the Composer with IMSL, which as far as I know doesn't exist yet, so you would get the ifort 11.1 version.If these pages aren't sufficient to help you and your vendor figure it out, I guess you have a beef with our marketing.. I attempted to "repair" the install first in which the repair was successful. Then I was able to do a full un-install. That left me with no Visual Studio installs and no Intel OneAPI installs.I then clicked the Visual Studio 2022 Version 17.9.2 link given in private e-mail and successfully installed that version of Visual Studio as shown below. It appears to be a 30 day free trial version which should be sufficient to determine root cause here.I then proceeded to do a fresh on-line install of Intel OneAPI v2025 (latest) and received very similar errors I have received all along.
