Since I'm doing ACA Certification, I took IP Office as my product elective. Because of geographical distance, I cannot attend workshops or classes conducted by Avaya University. I need IP Office admin applications like Manager and installation and administration wizard application, where I can workout some excercise offline without the system. I downloaded IP office admin CD from avaya support site. After installation, it is asking for operator password.... any thoughts that might help me. 1 #2 The default password for Administrator is Administrator. Thread starter #3 Thanks. I have read and read about sip, sip trunks, sip third party, sip this and that with vcm 32 cards. 1. I have a IP office 500v2 partner edition and that is a simple answer. 3 sip lines provided. 2. I also have a IP office 500v2 Essential license edition 8.0 and can setup a sip lines.But, I thought I need a license to use it or is that just for trunks?I ask this because I'm thinking of purchasing a router (probably a cisco) and fxs / fxo ports with or without t1 cards to connect them to the ip office systems. I see I"m covered for the partner edition. But not sure on the Essential edition. Also I have looked up connecting the two systems with a t1 cross over cable. I noticed I might have the same issue with licensing for that. On a side note and has nothing to do with the above. I finally tracked down a TCM-8 Card for Nortel phones. Also as a joke I put the Cisco on hold music on the system too.
