Kubernetes does a great job of orchestrating your containerized applications and deploying them across all the worker nodes in a cluster. If a node has enough compute capacity to run a specific Kubernetes pod, Kubernetes will schedule that application pod on that worker node. But what if none of the worker nodes in the cluster have enough available capacity to accept new application pods? At this point, Kubernetes will not be able to deploy your application pods, and they will be stuck in a pending state. In addition to this scenario, Kubernetes also does not have the capability to monitor and manage the storage utilization in your cluster. These are two huge problems when it comes to running applications on Kubernetes. This blog covers solutions from Portworx and AWS that will help users architect a solution that helps them remediate these concerns. In this blog, we will look at how Portworx Autopilot and AWS Karpenter work together to help users build a solution on top of AWS EKS clusters that allows them to automatically expand persistent volumes or add more storage capacity to the Kubernetes clusters using Portworx Autopilot. The solution also automatically adds more CPU and memory resources by dynamically adding more worker nodes in the AWS EKS cluster using AWS Karpenter. We can begin by developing a better understanding of automated storage capacity management with Portworx Autopilot. Autopilot is a rule-based engine that responds to changes from a monitoring source. Autopilot allows you to specify monitoring conditions as well as the actions it should take when those conditions occur, which means you can set simple IFTT rules against your EKS cluster and have Autopilot automatically perform a certain action for you if a certain condition has been met. Portworx Autopilot supports the following three use cases:Automatically resizing PVCs when they are running out of capacityScaling Portworx storage pools to accommodate increasing usageRebalancing volumes across Portworx storage pools when they come unbalancedTo get started with Portworx Autopilot, first you will have to deploy Portworx on your Amazon EKS cluster and configure Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring. Once you have that up and running, use the following steps to configure Autopilot and create an Autopilot rule that will monitor the capacity utilization of a persistent volume and scale it up accordingly:Use the following yaml file to deploy Portworx Autopilot on your Amazon EKS cluster. Verify the Prometheus endpoint set in the autopilot-config config map and ensure that it matches the service endpoint for Prometheus in your cluster.# SOURCE: v1kind: ConfigMapmetadata: name: autopilot-config namespace: kube-systemdata: config.yaml: |- providers: - name: default type: prometheus params: url= min_poll_interval: 2---apiVersion: v1kind: ServiceAccountmetadata: name: autopilot-account namespace: kube-system---apiVersion: apps/v1kind: Deploymentmetadata: annotations: scheduler.alpha.kubernetes.io/critical-pod: "" labels: tier: control-plane name: autopilot namespace: kube-systemspec: selector: matchLabels: name: autopilot strategy: rollingUpdate: maxSurge: 1 maxUnavailable: 1 type: RollingUpdate replicas: 1 template: metadata: annotations: scheduler.alpha.kubernetes.io/critical-pod: "" labels: name: autopilot tier: control-plane spec: affinity: podAntiAffinity: requiredDuringSchedulingIgnoredDuringExecution: - labelSelector: matchExpressions: - key: "name" operator: In values: - autopilot topologyKey: "kubernetes.io/hostname" hostPID: false containers: - command: - /autopilot ARKV6X Flight Controller$400.00Blue Framework Listed, USA built, NDAA compliant flight controller based on the FMUV6X and Pixhawk Autopilot Bus open source standards with triple synced IMUs.In stock SKU: ARKV6X Categories: Flight Controllers, NDAA Flight Controllers Tags: ardupilot, Autopilot, Blue Framework, DIU Blue, DIU Blue Framework, Flight Controller, IMU, Made in the USA, ndaa compliant, Open Source, PAB, Pixhawk, Pixhawk Autopilot Bus, PX4, UAVCAN Description Additional information DescriptionThe ARKV6X NDAA compliant flight controller is based on the FMUV6X and Pixhawk Autopilot Bus open source specifications. Using self-provisioning mode for Autopilot doesn't preclude a licensed user from logging into the device and using features entitled to that user such as Conditional Access. For more information, see Windows Autopilot scenarios and capabilities. If desired, a primary user can be manually set after device provisioning via the Intune admin center. For more information, see Change a devices primary user.RequirementsSelf-deploying mode uses a device's Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 hardware to authenticate the device into an organization's Microsoft Entra tenant. Therefore, devices without TPM 2.0 can't be used with this mode. Devices must also support TPM device attestation. All new Windows devices should meet these requirements. The TPM attestation process also requires access to a set of HTTPS URLs that are unique for each TPM provider. For more information, see the entry for Autopilot self-Deploying mode and Autopilot pre-provisioning in Networking requirements. For Windows Autopilot software requirements, see Windows Autopilot software requirements. An organization-specific logo and organization name can be displayed during the Autopilot process. To do so, Microsoft Entra Company Branding must be configured with the images and text that need to be displayed. See Quickstart: Add company branding to your sign-in page in Microsoft Entra ID for more details.Step by stepTo deploy in self-deploying mode Windows Autopilot, the following preparation steps need to be completed:Create an Autopilot profile for self-deploying mode with the desired settings. In Microsoft Intune, this mode is explicitly chosen when creating the profile. It isn't possible to create a profile in the Microsoft Store for Business or Partner Center for self-deploying mode.If using Intune, create a device group in Microsoft Entra ID and assign the Autopilot profile to that group. Ensure that the profile is assigned to the device before attempting to deploy that device.Boot the device, connecting it to Wi-Fi if necessary, then wait for the provisioning process to complete.ValidationWhen using Windows Autopilot to deploy in self-deploying mode, the following end-user experience should be observed:Once the device connects to a network, the Autopilot profile is downloaded. If connected to Ethernet, and the Autopilot profile is configured to skip them, the following

@Ramesh , From your description, it seems the Microsoft office 365 is in "Waiting for Install Status". Based as I know, if we deploy it via the following method, the installation will start after the Autopilot complete. During the ESP of Autopilot, it will only install some specific LOB or Win32 app. Here is a link for the reference: We can check if the app is installed after the Autopilot is finished. Once the deployment policy from Intune is assigned to the target machines, the end device will automatically download the installation package from the officecdn.microsoft.com location. Two directories "Microsoft Office" and "Microsoft Office 15 will appear in the Program Files Under the Microsoft Office directory, a new folder is created where the installation files are stored: Under the Microsoft Office 15 directory, the Office Click-to-Run installation launcher files are stored. We can check if these files are existing. To see more details, we can read the "Deployment details" and "Troubleshooting" in the first article. Hope it can help.
